Pet care experience
Secure garden & countryside walks
Freddie and I have both grown up around dogs and animals our whole lives. Between us we’ve had Labradors, Collies, and smaller breeds, so we’re very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. We understand how important routine, exercise, and attention are for dogs, and we’re confident handling everything from countryside walks to quieter, relaxed dogs who prefer a slower pace. We currently have one friendly cat who spends most of the day outside exploring, so our home would be best suited to dogs who are comfortable around cats. At the moment we don’t have a dog of our own, which is exactly why we’d love the opportunity to look after other people’s dogs and give them lots of attention, walks, and care while their owners are away.

Issi and her partner Freddie were friendly with Murphy and seemed to all get on well during his stay. He had big walks with them and returned to us happy. Whilst we didn’t receive photo updates, when prompted we received an update on how things were going which we appreciated as we like to regularly check in on how things are with new sitters/boarders.

Schedule
A typical day with us is relaxed and active. Freddie works from home, so dogs have company during the day. Mornings would start with some time in the garden, and at lunchtime Freddie usually goes for a walk through the nearby fields or along the River Darent. In the afternoon dogs can relax indoors or spend time outside in the garden. I get home from work at around 5:10pm, which is perfect timing for another walk, playtime, and lots of attention in the evening. Our aim is to make dogs feel comfortable, safe, and part of the household while they’re staying with us.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We live in a quiet countryside home with a fenced front garden where dogs can safely spend time outside. We’re surrounded by fields and footpaths, and close to the River Darent, so there are plenty of peaceful places for walks. Freddie works from home in the week, so pets are rarely left alone and get lots of attention throughout the day. We only take a small number of pets at a time to make sure they receive plenty of care and feel relaxed in our home. We always follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible and are happy to provide updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

A typical day with us is a mix of walks, play, and relaxation. Mornings start with time in our secure garden, followed by countryside or riverside walks along the River Darent and nearby fields. During the day, dogs can relax inside, enjoy the garden, or play with toys. Around lunchtime Freddie goes for a walk, giving dogs another chance to explore and stretch their legs. I return from work around 5:10pm, which is perfect for an evening walk, play, and plenty of cuddles.
