I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m also available on Thursday evenings if needed. Tom is usually home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as he often flies on weekends. Between us, someone is typically around most of the week. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule — even in a last-minute emergency. We also have a car and can collect your pet if needed. We usually stay in on weekends and would be happy to look after your pet for the whole weekend if required.

Both me and Tom will be at home most days, due to Toms job there might be days where he is working and will not be in the house. But I will be at home to give your pet care and attention. We have a lovely back garden — while it’s not fenced in, we’re happy to sit outside with your pet and keep a close eye on them, or keep them on a lead for safety. We also live near several parks and can drive them to the woods if they’d enjoy a longer walk. If your pet needs a pram, we’re more than happy to push them along for some fresh air! We can also feed and bathe your pet, and if they have any medical needs, we’ll do our best to ensure they take their medication (we’re fans of the classic cheese ball method!). We're happy to work around your schedule and will send regular updates and photos of your pet being thoroughly spoilt.

A typical day
Wake up between 6:30am and 8am, head out for a quick toilet trip, and have breakfast. Whether Tom is in or it’s a weekday, there will always be a morning walk — or a walk around 12pm during my lunch break. At the weekend, we’ll head to the park for a long walk, but during the week, it’ll usually be a woodland or field walk. In winter, we light our fire so your pet can get cosy on the sofa. We’ll usually take another walk before tea and have a good run around. Tea is between 5pm and 6pm (you can let us know what time suits best for feeding), and yes — we always pay the cheese/chicken tax! Before bed, we’ll go for a short night walk around the block for one last sniffing trip. We’ll also let them out in the garden for toilet breaks as needed throughout the day. Then it’s cuddles on the sofa and off to bed!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a graphic designer who works from home some days and I absolutely love animals. I live with my fiancé Tom (he’s in my photos) I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve helped care for our family dogs and my fiancé’s (my fiancé is called Tom) pets — two big dogs and a cat — so I’m confident with pets of all sizes. As is Tom as well, he will be looking after your pet with me some days, due to the nature of his job he might not be in some days. Due to the nature of our work, one of us is nearly always home, your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and toilet breaks throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog or cat like part of the family. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to pop by for a cuppa!

Reviews

Bella and Nelly had a wonderful stay. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring hands. It was Nelly’s first sleepover, and she settled in brilliantly. They enjoyed plenty of walks, cuddles, and treats. We’ll definitely be booking with Isobel and Tom again, and really appreciated the regular updates throughout their stay.

Great looker-afterer, lots of updates and Bosco was really well cared for. Highly recommended.

Isobel and Tom looked after our girls and they were brilliant! It was the first time Nelly had been looked after someone so I was anxious leaving her. Isobel sent me a message and photos to reassure me they were both fine. They took them for a lovely walk and I picked them up after tea. They had a lovely day with Isobel and Tom. We will defo use them again and highly recommend!! Thank you both x

Highly recommend Isobel! We had a pre-stay visit which was super helpful, we received update photos and she was great with our dog who isn’t the easiest overnight!
