Availability

We currently both work from home, Michael is fully remote and Isla works hybrid from home 3 days a week, which means there's always someone home and we can offer great availability! We both have quiet home offices on the 3rd floor of our home, though we do bring the laptops down to the living room for pets that aren't allowed or aren't great with stairs.

Information Isla W. would like to know about your pet

We like to know where your pet usually sleeps at night, what they're like on walks (especially when they see other dogs, or the dreaded cats!), and how often/how much they get fed. It's also necessary to be told if they need any medication before we accept a booking! If you think it's important, please let us know of their temperament for example if they're nervous or very boisterous. This is all great to know so we can make sure we're a good match for your pet and can give them what they need! We can make almost anything work!

A typical day

When we're both working the dogs get run of the house! They can sit with whoever they want to, get regular toilet breaks and we play with them on demand. In the evenings we tend to eat our dinner, take them for a walk (usually 45 mins to an hour) and then feed them when we get home. There's plenty of time in the day for mental stimulation too and we're always happy to feed dogs with slow bowls, snuffle mats and lick mats to keep their brains engaged! On the weekend we can take the dogs for slightly longer walks and give them our undivided attention, if you have any special requests let us know!

Pet care experience

We have lots of experience walking, visiting and feeding pets as well as caring for them overnight in our own home for friends, family and neighbours, and of course our lovely Rover owners! We have been sitting through Rover since January 2023 and have had dozens of lovely pets stay with us of different ages, temperaments, energy levels and regimes. Of course we are LGBTQIA+ friendly.

We were away for 3 weeks on holidays and wouldn’t have left our shihtzu Harley with anybody else. She was well cared for and we were kept updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. We have left Harley with Isla on numerous occasions and will continue to do so as she is spoilt rotten and loves her time away ☺️

The regular updates and pics making me feel so so happy that he was having a good time and not being a too much of a bad dog!! I cannot thank you both enough!! Bear had a great time 😃 xx
