Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life—I’m home full-time, so my day revolves around caring for my own dog and any pups I’m watching. From morning potty breaks and play sessions in our big yard to regular walks, feeding, and cuddle time, I make sure each dog gets plenty of attention and activity throughout the day. I keep a consistent routine to help pets feel comfortable and secure, and I love being able to give them the time and care they deserve.

To provide the best care possible, I’d love to learn about your pet before we start, including: Behavior & Temperament: How does your dog usually behave? Any fears, anxieties, or habits I should be aware of? Furniture Rules: Are they allowed on furniture at home, are they good with it? Social Skills: How do they get along with other dogs and people? Any social boundaries or special introductions needed? Destructive Behaviors: Any chewing, digging, or other behaviors I should watch out for? Allergies & Medical Needs: Are there any allergies, medications, or health concerns I need to know about? Sleeping & Feeding Routines: What’s their usual schedule? Where do they sleep, and how often/how much do they eat? Knowing this info ahead of time helps me create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment tailored just for your pet!
A typical day
Walks and Park Visits: Lots of sniffing time, fetch, or light jogs if they’re active. Training Games: Practice tricks or obedience with treats and positive reinforcement. Interactive Toys: Tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or hide-and-seek with treats. Cuddle Time: If they’re more mellow, lounging together with pets and ear rubs.

I've been around dogs my entire life and raised my current pup since he was just 8 weeks old, so I understand the care, patience, and love dogs need at every stage. What sets me apart is the home environment I provide—I'm home all day, so your dog will get frequent potty breaks, lots of playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We also have a large, secure yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor fun, and my gentle giant Labradoodle loves having new friends to play with. I treat every dog like family and do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away.

Ishaka was a great sitter for my dog Duck. She was flexible with pick-up drop-off, sent updates, made sure he was comfortable during storms, and was easy to get in touch with. She has a nice backyard for dogs to run around in too.
Provided a lot of updates and pics of my dog. I feel very confident leaving my dog under their care again in the future.
Ishaka (Nd he dog Niko) took great care of Vigo. She gave regular updates and amazing photos. Highly recommend!!
