Pet care experience

Energetic Future Doc | Animal Lover

What sets me apart as a sitter is the combination of lifelong experience, genuine love for animals, and a calm, attentive approach to care. I grew up with a dog that my parents had even before I was born, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. Later, I raised and trained another dog from just 8 weeks old through adulthood, which gave me hands-on experience with puppy training, routines, positive reinforcement, and managing the energy and needs of larger breeds (both of my dogs were about 70 pounds). Because of this, I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including high-energy puppies and gentle senior pets who may need more patience and attentiveness. In addition, I have extensive experience teaching and working with children, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to stay calm in unpredictable situations — skills that translate directly to caring for animals. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs time to build trust, and I approach them with kindness and consistency. I’m very detail-oriented, responsible, and nurturing by personality — qualities that also come from being a medical student — so I naturally prioritize safety, routine, and emotional comfort for the animals in my care. Most importantly, I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel secure, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m currently a medical student in my pre-clinical years, which means my schedule varies day to day and gives me a great deal of flexibility throughout the week. Outside of lectures and study blocks, I’m often free at different times — mornings, afternoons, or evenings — which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, extended stays, or check-ins based on your pet’s needs. I am also free all day on weekends, which makes me especially available for longer visits, boarding, or more consistent care during that time. Because my weekday schedule can change week to week, I do ask for about three days’ notice whenever possible so I can plan accordingly and ensure I give your pet my full attention. I’m very organized and intentional with my time, so once we confirm, you can count on me to be reliable, consistent, and fully present for your pet.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, trust, and consistency are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always follow the pet’s normal routine closely — including feeding, walks, medications, and any special instructions — to help them feel comfortable and secure. I’m very attentive to behavior and environment, making sure spaces are safe, clean, and escape-proof. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, organized, and communicative, providing regular updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away.
