As a child i never had a pet but my family members & friends always did and we was the family that baby sat for others. As the years went by I earned their trust to be left alone as a young adult without my parents being around. This was great for the owners & I because i was always able to walk, feed or stay over-night if they was out of town due to my free of schedule. It was like having a pet for the right amount of time where my only responsibility was to watch over for 24-72 hrs. It went from being a favor/job or side hustle & over time growing to become something i looked forward towards. The responsibility helped me today become a better father to my 9 year old son. Funny looking back, who would have known.
