I've had dogs since I was about 14 years of age, from tiny terriers to large labradors. I've also been surrounded by some of the loveliest (and skittish!) cats, learning to love them like my own.

Isai and his girlfriend were absolutely amazing with my Benny during his stay with them. He had such a wonderful time and was in great company with their sweet little dog. They kept me updated every day with pictures and shared what they were doing together, which gave me so much peace of mind. On the day I was supposed to pick Benny up, my flight was unexpectedly delayed until late at night, and they were incredibly kind and helpful by taking care of him for an extra day. I actually wanted to book them again for another weekend, but unfortunately they will be out of town. Seeing how happy Benny was and how much he enjoyed his time with them, I would absolutely love for him to stay with them again next time. I highly recommend Isai and his girlfriend—they took wonderful care of Benny, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! ❤️🐾

Isai was great to work with for my dog. Just a short stay this time but he was easy to coordinate drop off and having a friend pick Watson up at the end. I felt that Watson was in good hands.
Did not run into any issues which was good but received very little communication on how Caine was doing. I even tried prompting on the first day to see if that may set expectations for Isai. I was disappointed to not receive any update after that, aside from a video that came after me having to reach out again. This would have been even more appreciated considering I noticed Caine didn’t even eat half of his food while there and his physique surely reflected this. Those are situations in which I would most definitely expect to be notified. I think Isai and his partner are great folks but I definitely see room for improvement specifically around communication. Because communication is so key, I can’t possibly give 5 stars for a serious lack thereof but I do hope this feedback is helpful to both him as well as others who are interested in selecting him.
Isai and his pup were great with Mia! Super responsive and took great care of Mia. Would definitely rebook!

Schedule
I work only weekend nights, which is when my partner is available. Even then, I'm never more than a few minutes walk away from home in case of an emergency. Taking care of your fur baby is always top priority!

Safety, trust & environment
I'm always home, and would never abandon a pet. I take my current dog everywhere I possibly can, and in the rare chance I have to leave, my dog is crated or isolated in a different room. We also have access to an enclosed patio.

A typical day
I live close to a dog park, but I also love hiking the nearby forest, and another park that's nearby. When hiking, we usually run along a forest path where there's some logs we like to jump over, and we also tend to see lots of squirrels and deer.

- Please let me know about feeding habits and frequency of walks. I take my dog out at least three times a day and walk (around 3 miles each time) twice a day. If that's too much, or too little, I can always adjust.
