Who let the dogs out? Me! For you!

My first time saying yes to taking on the responsibility of a dog was at 9yrs old, when I was finally gifted the birthday present of my dreams- my first puppy! Since then, I have always been the friend, neighbor, and family member tending to any and all dogs within my environment. From playful walks and runs to watching a pet while a friend goes off on a type II fun adventure, I’ve collected a multitude of experiences in doggy-services. I’m the owner of 2 female border collies, and outdoor recreation is the name of our game. Long hikes, big swims, and thrilling day trips make up most of our day time hours and we wouldn’t have it any other way! You can trust your dog will be loved as if my own, with their safety and happiness as my first priority. I can’t wait to meet your pup and head out on an adventure. My work entails working with clients remotely as a holistic health and performance coach. I am currently in school online with the Chek Institute. I love intertwining these activities with time outside! It makes me happy to be available for others who cannot bring their dogs to work or need someone who understands the demands / care of working dog breeds. My female border collies are trained/on and off leash and usually along well with other dogs. Zenna is 10yrs older and not as interested in playing with other dogs, yet enjoys sharing space. Lumin is 7mo old puppy and learning about other dogs. Once she gets to meet them, she loves to play! Please let me know if you have an in-tact male before meeting! My females are NOT spayed; it is easy for me to keep them separate from other dogs if necessary. I drive a vehicle with plenty of space for the dogs if a pick up/drop off is necessary (additional fee depending on mileage) My prices reflect the 1:1 attention your dog(s) will receive under my care. I only board, house sit, doggy day care 1 family at a time, and make it apparent to involve your dog(s) in every activity I can. Since my pups are Border Collies, you can rest assure high energy dogs will be expertly cared for! I recently relocated in the Morro Bay, CA area after living and serving animal parents of the RenoTahoe area for 4 years. I look forward to meeting the members of this community!

Isabelle was amazing. Super communicative and shared photos / updates during the week. She kept my dog business and well cared for and was flexible with a pre-sit meeting as well as flexible with pick up and drop off times. Would highly reccomend Isabelle for future sitting needs.

Isabelle was awesome! My 7-month old lab puppy is a handful, and Isabelle gave her so much attention and play time! Hazel loved being there, and I loved having the comfort and peace of mind knowing that she was in such capable and loving care. I have already recommended Isabelle to my dog parent friends.

Schedule

As mentioned above, I work remote, leaving me at home hanging out with the hounds. Outside of my daily gym routine, I balance work with playtime in the yard, mountains, and beach! My partner is an artist and is home when I’m not, ensuring the dogs have a friend with them at all times.

Safety, trust & environment

I am currently available for house sitting, boarding, walking, and day care opportunities. We are very respectful of boarding in your home, and ensure you will come back with your home cleaner than you left it. Having grown up in the Midwest (the U.P!), I uphold a high standard for leaving a space better than I found it. If you would like house sitting references I am happy to share references.

Pets

A typical day

A normal day looks like getting to an open space if there’s no yard such as a park, beach, or hiking area to burn off some energy and learn how we work together. Once we make it to the destination on the hike or find a spot on the beach, it’s time to play or undergo some training with treats! If a dog is energetic and enjoys running, I’m more than happy to treat us both to a 5k or a lovely stroll in nature. Positive reinforcement is the method I stand behind when it comes to caring for animals, and I can’t wait to play with your pup! If your pal is more of a snuggler, it will be spa-like experience as they receive foot rubs and belly scratches. We have a fully fenced in back yard.
