Hi, I’m Izzy! I’ve been lucky enough to spend over 17 years caring for all sorts of furry and scaly friends, from dogs and cats to reptiles! Growing up, my home was filled two happy pups, and I’ve proudly been the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and neighbors ever since. I currently live with a sweet 14-year-old chihuahua who keeps me company at home. While he previously lived happily with other dogs and attended doggy daycare, he’s become more anxious around unfamiliar pets as he’s gotten older. For his comfort, I’m unable to offer boarding in my home at this time, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through house-sitting, drop-in visits and walks. I have 6 years of experience in positive-reinforcement training with puppies & young dogs, improving leash manners & supporting dogs who struggle with reactivity, potty training/housebreaking, and basic commands. I have 4 years of experience providing special care for senior dogs, including administering oral and topical medications, accommodating specific diets, and adjusting care for pups with vision and/or hearing loss. When it comes to our feline friends, I’ve cared for kittens, adult cats, and seniors who are litter-box trained (plus a few little ones still figuring it out!). I also have experience administering oral and topical medications to cats & kittens, accommodating specific diets, and caring for cats with hearing loss. Please note that I do not have experience administering injectable medications to dogs or cats. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make sure they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routines, boundaries, and any instructions around feeding, walks, medications, crating, and household rules to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I love keeping pets active and engaged through neighborhood walks, hikes, backyard play, or indoor enrichment. I’m a big believer that there’s no bad weather, just the wrong clothes for the weather, so I’m happy to get outside in all seasons! I’m attentive to leash safety, surroundings, other animals, and each pet’s comfort level, with experience caring for reactive dogs and seniors who may need extra space, a slower pace, or other accommodations. Above all, I want your pets to feel comfortable at home and you to feel confident they’re in good hands.

Izzy is wonderful! My pup stayed with her for 5 nights and she kept me updated the entire time with photos and quick daily recaps so I always knew he was happy and in good hands. For those who may relate, my pup is a little anxious and Izzy knew how to handle him very well. This speaks to her ability to adapt to the individual needs of the pets she looks after and brought me a lot of comfort. I will definitely be rebooking with her soon!

Our dog adores Isabelle! She's cared for him many times and house-sat for us, and we can always trust that he'll be well cared for, as will our space. She's also taken good care of our cat. Isabelle is responsible, caring, and loving. Highly recommend this sitter!
Isabelle was great! She was a trooper because the morning before she was supposed to watch our pets for the first time, our cat went to the emergency vet for blood in her urine. But we felt comfortable leaving our sick cat (doctor said it wasn’t too serious, but had to be monitored) and three other pets (another cat and two dogs) in Isabelle’s capable hands. We were gone for 8 hours and Isabelle stayed with our pets the whole time. She took the dogs on two walks (which is sometimes hard because our dogs are a little crazy), gave everyone dinner, and successfully gave our cat her meds! She sent us updates and photos which we loved! We will definitely be using Isabelle for any future petsitting and recommend her to anyone who loves their pets! :) Thanks again, Isabelle!
Isabelle has helped care for our two dogs for several years. Both dogs are mixed breed and highly energetic. She was involved with both dogs from the time they were puppies. She helped us train them. She’s responsible. She takes excellent care of the dogs. She has taken the dogs on walks in the community and in the parks. She’s very mindful of the other people and dogs around and is very cautious and mindful of the dogs behaviors We highly recommend her. Schedule
I work from home full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care throughout the day! For house-sitting, I can easily bring my workspace with me, so your pets can have company, attention, potty breaks, and walks throughout the workday rather than being left alone for long stretches. I occasionally have in-person meetings, typically no more than 1–2 times per week. When I do, I’m usually away for about 2–2.5 hours and am very rarely gone for more than 3 hours at a time. If my schedule ever requires a longer stretch away from home, I’ll know in advance and will always communicate that before booking to make sure it works for your pet’s needs and routine. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including house-sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. While I previously offered boarding, I’m unfortunately unable to host pets in my own home at this time. I currently live with a senior chihuahua has become more anxious around unfamiliar animals as he’s gotten older, so I prioritize his comfort by keeping my current home pet-guest-free. Fortunately, my flexible work-from-home schedule means I’m more than happy to come to your pets instead!

- Please let me know about any special needs your pet has before you entrust them to my care. Any medications, food or specific diet needs, leash and harness directions, and so on. If your dog has certain anxieties (separation, new people, loud noises), struggles with reactivity, specific fears (children, bikes, men, etc.) or has any other behavioral sensitivity, I am very patient and moderately experienced in these areas, and will ask you to provide details so I can best support their needs.
