Hi! I have had pets in my life for over a decade and am truly an animal person. I love taking care of animals and am excited at the idea that I can do it at least semi-professionally. In the past, it has been one of my favorite jobs. I have experience with horses, sheep, ducks, guinea pigs, snails, fish, and hermit crabs, as well as cats and dogs. This background has provided me with skills in maintaining appropriate attention to feeding and training routines in multiple species at a time. I have learned to be adaptable to an animal’s habits as they adapt to my presence. Some special skills I have include caring for disabled and senior pets, providing preventative and responsive medication, managing food according to allergies, taking care of trained attack dogs, and providing first aid in an emergency situation.
