Availability
I work full time so my daytime availability is limited to weekends and my WFH days (Thursday-Sundays). However, my partner works from home everyday so if I’m boarding pets in my home Monday-Wednesday, he will be there for lunchtime walks or bathroom breaks if you are comfortable with that.

I have an apartment with no pets. There are walking trails and a park nearby as well as a dog park and pet spa in case your pet needs a bath. I maintain a safe and clean environment with food, cleaning supplies, etc. away and out of reach. I’m very communicative and will keep you updated as much or as little as you’d like!

A typical day
I live very close to walking trails and would love to go for a long walk or stop at the dog park for a quick visit. I also live within walking distance to a pet store so there’s even a chance we stop by for a little treat!

Hi, I’m Isabelle! I’ve lived in Durham for almost three years and work in local government. I’m an avid runner and a very outdoorsy person! I live with my partner, Marquette, in an apartment with walking trails, a dog park, and a pet spa. Marquette and I both have experience as pet sitters, both long and short term, and as volunteers at our college animal shelter, which mostly included walking and Doggy Days Out. We don’t currently have any pets but grew up with dogs and love all animals!

Isabelle volunteered for us for a few years through walks & doggy day out excursions and was helpful in getting our website updated with photos and personality descriptors of the dogs she interacted with. All our volunteers pass safety checks and go through trainings before they can begin.

Isabelle did a great job helping me out with my dog when I went on vacation. It wasn't a paid situation (she was just helping me out for the week) but she sent cute photos of my dog to update me and followed my instructions for food to a T. I know Isabelle is responsible and she did a great job.
