I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Whether it's taking dogs out for walks, feeding, playtime, or just providing companionship, I have plenty of time throughout the day to give pets the attention they need. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks from work, which I like to use for check-ins, bathroom breaks, or just spending time with the pet. In the evenings, I’m available for longer walks, feeding, and winding down with some cuddle time or quiet play. My flexible work hours mean I can adjust my day to meet your pet’s specific needs, including any special routines or medications. Pets quickly become part of my daily rhythm, and I truly enjoy the companionship and joy they bring!

I always use a secure leash and harness, and I tailor each walk to the dog’s energy level, age, and any specific needs or routines they may have. I avoid overly busy or unsafe areas and keep a close eye on weather conditions to ensure the walk is comfortable. I make sure your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and I always provide fresh water, attention, and a quick post-walk check to make sure they’re settled before I leave. For Cat Drop-In Visits: During drop-in visits for cats, I make sure their needs are fully met—fresh food and water, litter box cleaned, and medications if required. I also spend quality time with them, whether that means playing, brushing, or simply keeping them company depending on their personality. I understand that cats can be sensitive to changes in routine, so I aim to provide a calm and familiar experience while you’re away. I always make sure the home is secure and tidy before I leave.

We love giving belly rubs to your furry family member! We always love to play fun games like catch, fetch, and any other game your pet loves. It really depends on each pet’s personality and energy level, but we love making our time together fun and engaging! For dogs, I enjoy taking them on stimulating walks where they can explore new scents, get some fresh air, and burn off energy. I always keep things safe, but also fun and enriching! For cats, I love interactive play during drop-in visits—things like wand toys, laser pointers, or even tossing a favorite toy for them to chase. For more relaxed cats, I’ll spend time brushing them, offering treats, or just keeping them company with gentle pets and conversation. Ultimately, I pay attention to what each pet enjoys most and tailor our time together to make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for.

Pet care experience
My husband and I have extensive experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have grown up with cats my entire life, and have previous experience volunteering with Crumbs and Whiskers, a cat cafe in Georgetown that works with rescue cats. I am comfortable socializing and caring for cats and kittens, giving them medications and providing any and all care necessary. My husband has grown up with dogs, and is great at teaching tricks and giving baths! We both individually have multiple years of experience pet sitting dogs and cats. Your cats and/dogs will be in the very best care with us!
