I am a teacher, working one block from home, and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening walks. We live close to Mundy park and can do long walks on- or off-leash. We also have many neighbors with friendly dogs for company on neighborhood walks.

We have a fully fenced yard, a deck that overlooks the street, and are able to let your dog free roam inside (uncrated) when we are home. Your dog will be invited to cuddle with us on the couch and can sleep on a dog bed in our bedroom (we can provide). I also enjoy brushing dogs.

We love older senior dogs who just want to be loved on! We haven't had any experience with giving injections and medications but we are willing to learn. It would be great to meet your dog before the sitting begins.
A typical day
Guaranteed minimum 2 walks per day, more if your dog wants. We love to go to the off-leash area of Mundy park, once we've determined recall is not an issue.

Pet care experience
We have had experience caring for 4 dogs, 2 cats, a gecko and a ball python over the past 15+ years. We are mature working couple with an adult son who lives downstairs. I work a block away from home, and can easily check in on your pet during the day if needed. We recently sent our 13.5 year old Amstaff over the rainbow bridge and have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors. We look forward to loving up your dogs while you're away! We can accommodate picky eaters, special diets and medications. We particularly enjoy doing training during walks, while hand feeding, and driving to Mundy park for long walks! No dog is too big, and we have had experience with bully breeds and dog reactive pets. *** Please note that as we both work full time, we prefer to have your pet dropped off the night before service begins so we can help socialize and introduce them to household routines. Isabelle and Dean were marvelous with Bernard... easy walks, mindful of his back legs, tremendous care and attention, included him in Christmas plans, followed Bernard's specific diet, took him on car rides and monitored any behaviour or physical changes during our 10 day vacation. The outstanding care they continue to give him puts my mind at ease. I know he's safe. Bernard loves them. They love Bernard. What more can anyone ask?
