While I don’t currently offer services in my own home, I’m more than happy to come to you! Most pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment and routine - especially when their favorite human is away! I will always do my best to support the routine that supports them ♡
Information Isabelle d. would like to know about your pet
To help me provide the best care possible, please share the following: How would you describe their personality and temperament? How do they typically feel around new people, and what helps them feel comfortable? What is their usual baseline daily routine (feeding schedule, potty breaks, bedtime)? Are there any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or special care instructions? Are there any commands, cues, or boundaries they are used to - like feeding release words or off-limit furniture? Do they have any fears, triggers, or behavioral quirks I should be aware of? What activities, toys, or treats do they love most?
A typical day
Every pet’s perfect day looks a little different - just like ours! I focus on keeping their routine consistent so they feel secure and relaxed. Whether that means outdoor playtime, enrichment activities, or cozy cuddle time, I tailor the day to what they enjoy most.

Pet Care by Caring Vet Assistant ❤️
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Izzy! 😊 I aim to provide compassionate, detail-oriented care tailored to the needs and routine of your fur baby, with plenty of updates and photos so you can rest assured they’re happy, safe, and well cared for 🤍 A little about me: I graduated from ISU with a bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology. During college, I worked as a clinical pharmacy technician followed by a few years in emergency medicine - all while caring for pets in their home throughout the Bloomington Normal community. For the last year, I’ve been living my passion for veterinary medicine as a full-time Veterinary Assistant, with Vet School on the horizon 🏥🐕🐈⬛ I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages - from 6 week old kittens to an 18 year old senior pup, and everything in between! I also have the expertise needed to care for pets with a wide range of medical conditions that often require extra detail and care. I'm committed to providing a comfortable, safe, and nurturing environment for your beloved pet. As a pet parent myself - I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with a pair of spunky Shih Tzus, a snuggly Pitty, a gentle domestic shorthair, two dwarf hamsters, and a few non-mammalian pets along the way 😊 These days, I share my life with Brutus, my big, lovable pup 🐶❤️
Reviews
isabelle was great, won over my neurotic rescue and my scaredy cat. she has a lovely way with animals and is reliable and trustworthy. i can definitely recommend her and will be using her again.

Izzy took great care of my dog and house while I was traveling for a week. She provided me a great peace of mind and communication was easy and quick to respond. I highly recommend her and would use her again!

Excellent Job!!

Izzy was absolutely terrific. Shortly before our first scheduled overnight visit, we unfortunately had to put our 12 year GSD down. Izzy went above and beyond when she heard of the news to help us find a warm place to say our final goodbyes. She then did an amazing job watching our other two pups and helped eased our worries and anxiety leaving them after losing their sibling. We came back to two smiling pups.
