Hey — I’m Izzy 😊 I’m a full-time Veterinary Assistant who also provides loving, personalized in-home care for your fur babies! My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I provide attentive, detail-oriented care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs, with plenty of updates and photos along the way so you can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and well cared for 🤍 A little about me: I graduated from ISU with my bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology. During and after graduating, I gained medical experience as a clinical pharmacy technician and EMT — all while providing pet care throughout the Bloomington-Normal community. Since early 2025, I’ve been pursuing my passion for veterinary medicine as a full-time Veterinary Assistant, with Vet School on the horizon 🏥🐕🐈⬛ I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and life stages — from 5 week old kittens to a 19 year old senior pup and everything in between. With veterinary experience, I can also confidently care for pets with medical needs that require a little extra attention and patience. As a pet parent myself, I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with a pair of spunky Shih Tzus, a snuggly Pitty, a sassy domestic shorthair cat, twin dwarf hamsters, and a few non-mammalian pets along the way 😊 These days, I am happy to share my life with my big boy Brutus - my lovable, goofy pup and the biggest snuggle bug 🐶❤️

While I don’t currently offer services in my own home, I’m more than happy to come to you! Most pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment and routine - especially when their favorite human is away! I will always do my best to support the routine that supports them ♡

isabelle was great, won over my neurotic rescue and my scaredy cat. she has a lovely way with animals and is reliable and trustworthy. i can definitely recommend her and will be using her again.
Izzy took great care of my dog and house while I was traveling for a week. She provided me a great peace of mind and communication was easy and quick to respond. I highly recommend her and would use her again!
Excellent Job!!
Izzy was absolutely terrific. Shortly before our first scheduled overnight visit, we unfortunately had to put our 12 year GSD down. Izzy went above and beyond when she heard of the news to help us find a warm place to say our final goodbyes. She then did an amazing job watching our other two pups and helped eased our worries and anxiety leaving them after losing their sibling. We came back to two smiling pups.
Izzy took great care of our dogs! She was communicative and thoughtful throughout the entire weekend. She even went the extra mile to make our dogs some special treats, which they loved. We will gladly use Izzy for our pet sitting needs in the future!
Isabelle was amazing with our pets! They loved her the moment they met! She was always in communication with us which helped give us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you!

Schedule
I keep my Rover calendar consistently updated to reflect my true availability. My schedule is very steady - I work at the vet clinic Monday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and 12 hour shifts on Thursdays and Fridays with an hour long lunch break that I can use to check in on your fur babies.
