I have 19 years of hands-on experience providing personalized, attentive care for dogs, cats, puppies, rabbits, birds, and horses. I grew up on a farm in South Africa, surrounded by animals of all kinds, and have been riding horses since the age of four. Caring for animals has been a natural and important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began pet sitting at age 15 and continued throughout college, running my own dog sitting business from my apartment in San Francisco. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities — from energetic puppies needing early training to senior pets requiring extra support, medication administration, and plenty of patience. My experience includes daily walks, hikes, in-home boarding, drop-in visits, administering medications, senior care, and working with shy, anxious, or reactive companions. I take the time to understand each animal's unique needs and personality, creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel completely at ease.

A typical day
A typical day with me is filled with plenty of outdoor adventures, exercise, and cozy family time. My 15-month-old son loves being outside, and we go on long daily walks with his stroller — often covering up to 8 miles a day. Our usual route winds through Carpinteria, from our home to the beach, local parks, and around the neighborhood. In the evenings, my husband, son, and I cook dinner together and relax with a movie, where your pet is always welcome to join us for cuddles on the couch. Whether it’s an energetic outing or a calm evening at home, your pet will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, attention, and comfort throughout the day.

I recently relocated to Carpinteria from South Africa, but I previously ran my own pet sitting business in San Francisco, California. As I grow my new business here, I’m excited to offer my services to local families who want the very best for their pets. I work from home running my own business, which means I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to yours — weekdays, weekends, and everything in between. Your pet’s routine becomes my routine, ensuring they're comfortable, loved, and well-cared for at all times. I live in a beautiful 3-bedroom condo in Carpinteria with my husband and our 15-month-old son, who absolutely adores animals. We have a spacious outdoor patio and a private potty area downstairs, making it a safe and cozy environment for your pet. Isabelle was great! We had great communication, our dog had so much fun with her, her dog and family. She worked with the quirks our dog has and they were a non issue, I think our dog might have stayed if had a choice, one night wasn’t enough fun, will definitely use Isabelle again. Thank you!
Isabelle and her husband Nick took great care of our Chester. They treated him as if he were a member of the family. He had lots of fun playing with their dog Blue and they even let him sleep on their bed. She sent pictures so we were never worried. You won’t be sorry if you leave your pet with Isabelle.
