When caring for pets in another home, I will make sure to ask a lot of questions and take detailed notes about feeding rituals and other aspects of pet care, as well as the preferences of the family. On walks, I will make sure to be prepared with water and poop bags. I will always check the weather (feel the pavement in the heat, avoid long walks in the cold, etc) and be cognizant of how comfortable your dog is with socializing with other animals. In my home, I have a fenced backyard and all food and other risky items are stored away, because my family also has a dog.

I have more experience working with larger dogs, but I love working with small dogs as well! I would like to know about the temperament and stamina of the dog to best plan walks and playtime, as well as any potential triggers/ stressors (e.g. thunder, meeting other dogs) to be prepared.
A typical day
I love playing fetch with my own dog! My own loves to retrieve and play tug of war with the ball. I love long walks along the lakefront as well.

Hi! My name is Isabelle, and I’m a recent collage grad in RP/ Edgewater area, with three years of dog and cat sitting experience. I have a deep love for animals, and I've had dogs for nearly my entire life. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, and know how to balance affection and discipline on walks and longer stays.

Isabelle took wonderful care of my two labs while I was gone for a couple of days. She even learned how to give insulin to my older lab! She gave me the confidence to know that they were being cared for by a very responsible person. Isabelle is very mature and polite, and I would definitely use her again.
Isabelle was amazing! We were able to finally leave the house without worrying about our pup, and Isabelle took very good care of Charlie. Hoping to book with her again soon!
Isabelle was wonderful with our puppies. I would highly recommend her services. She was attentive and very caring. We are booking her again for a long weekend.
