Availability
I am a part time pre-vet student at Oakland University and part time vet tech in Waterford- that adds up to full time work! I also volunteer at a hospital once a week. I try not to leave pets alone more than 4 hours, I stop by for potty breaks in between classes and my one hour lunch break (if your home is close enough). Some busy days might go a little over 4 hours though. Long story short- If your pet requires 24 hour care I am most likely not going to be the best fit, but I always do my best to put the comfort of the pet first and spend as much time with them as I can!

I believe in putting the comfort and happiness of the pet first and accommodating to their needs. At one time in my home we had 4 dogs of various ages ranging from young to senior, and I took care of all of their individual needs. I am comfortable with pets of any size and temperament. I am comfortable with pets who have special needs. I can administer oral or injectable medication if needed. I will NOT let cats outside to wander. I do not believe in outdoor cats as they are a detriment to the environment and have shorter lifespans. I have seen many avoidable life-threatening injuries and diseases from outdoor cats at my job. If your cat will stay in one place, like a porch or deck for a while that's fine, but I will not let cats outside to wander/hunt all day or for hours at a time.

I would like to know about your pets schedule and routine (a written list would be very helpful!). Please tell me any quirks about your pet as well as things that they love and hate. I need to know if the pet has any bite history. Your pet must be up to date on at least a rabies vaccination.
A typical day
I love to cuddle and play with any animals! I will let the pet take the lead of what we do. We can walk, play, or relax depending on the pets needs or wants. When I am not at school or attending to your pet I will be working on homework and/or studying! I am unable to provide extensive walks (>30 mins) or other intense activity due to a medical condition. Brisk, short walks are great!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my own dogs ever since I can remember. For the last 8 years I have experience with drop-in and at-home care. I have more recently started overnight care. I have been using Rover since 2023! I have 3+ years of experience working in veterinary clinics as an assistant/technician. Next year I will be applying to veterinary school to become a veterinarian!

Isabella is a great communicator. She took great care of our two dogs, one who is 17 years old. I received pictures throughout the day and didn't worry about my pups at all. They were in great spirits when we got home. I would definitely hire her again.

Bella is everything you want in a pet sitter! She is very responsive, kind, and took great care of the dog and our home. She bonded quickly with our little Shipoo and sent daily photos and fun updates. We have a senior pup and I felt so relaxed knowing she is pre-vet and confident with pills or any senior needs. 👍🥰
Isabella was absolutely terrific. So nice and kind to us and our dog Bella. Great communication with many updates and pictures. She was nice enough to drive Bella to her groomer and to our wedding venue so that we could have her at our special day and watch her while we were busy in addition to watching her at our home. Couldn’t recommend Isabella enough. We will be using her again for future needs.
