I can’t board animals in my current accommodations, but will happily take care of your pets in their own comfy space. I will of course treat your home with the same respect I’d treat my own— if your pup or cat has an accident, it’ll be thoroughly cleaned. If your bird flings fruit on the ground, that’ll be handled too. If there’s some sort of issue, you’ll be contacted ASAP.

It’s also useful for me to know your pet’s specific training cues/commands (i.e. “come” vs “here,” “heel” vs “stop pulling”), if any, to avoid confusing them if I ask for a behavior. My goal is keep your animal friend as healthy and happy as possible, so please feel free share any and all details you deem relevant to that goal.

We’ll go on long walks (or short walks, if your pup is a couch potato), make plenty of time for cuddles, and play fetch or tug-o-war! For cats, I’ve become an expert feather wand caster. For birds, we’ll get as much out-of-cage-time as possible!

Hi, I’m Ella! I grew up on a ranch, and I’ve cared for animals of all personalities, sizes, and species since I was very young. I’ve been housesitting on Rover since May 2025. I had Star Sitter status until I took a long hiatus for travel, and to move from Austin to DFW! Regarding pups, I’ve been personally responsible for everything from Great Danes and Newfoundlands to Labradoodles, Dachshunds, and Chihuahua mixes. I also adore cats— until college, I’d never lived without them, and I love to pet sit for my cat lover friends when they go out of town. I have a now 12-year-old Green Cheek Conure (Tiki) I adopted when I was eleven, and he’s been my baby ever since. I have experience pet-sitting other birds and am very familiar with their specific needs. I am also comfortable with horses and equine-care. I graduated from UT in Biology in 2025, and adore all animals— snakes, rodents, and everything in between. Feel free to message me with any specific questions! I can’t express how grateful we are for Isabella’s exceptional house and dog-sitting services! She house sat for us for a week, and we were truly impressed with the level of care she provided, especially for our anxious and timid dog, Queso. Isabella went above and beyond to make sure Queso felt comfortable and safe. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals. She took the time to understand Queso's unique needs and created a soothing environment that helped our pup come out of her shell. Our home was kept immaculate, and we received regular updates and adorable photos, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Isabella’s dedication and attention to detail made our time away worry-free. We returned home to a happy and relaxed Queso, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
