I have two years of animal care experience working at two different dog kennels, where I cared for dogs (and cats) of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing & basic grooming, supervising playgroups, and making sure each dog was safe and well cared for throughout the day. Working in a kennel has also given me experience recognizing different behaviors and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. Additionally, I have cared for pets of my own and for friends and family. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, and I will always treat them with the same patience and care I would want for my own.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a clients home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walking, meditations, potty breaks, and individual needs and preferences. My experience working in dog kennels has taught me to maintain a safe environment and to notice when something seems out of the ordinary. I’m always happy to send photos and updates so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe and well cared for.

I had the pleasure of being Isabella's manager at a doggy daycare and boarding facility over the summer, and she always came in ready to work and genuinely cared for the dogs (and cats) in our care. She was great with dogs of all sizes and personalities and was consistently patient, attentive, and mindful of their individual needs. One thing I especially appreciated about Isabella was that she was never afraid to speak up and advocate for a dog when she felt they needed something. Schedule
I am currently a college student at UofSC, so my schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. I am available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’m especially flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays-Sundays; I have morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I am available for care after class. I spend plenty of time at home studying, which makes it easy for me to spend quality time with pets while keeping up with schoolwork. I’m happy to work with each pets normal routine and make sure the receive plenty of attention and care.
