Veterinary Technician for 2+ years

Hello! My name is Isabella, I'm 30 years old, and I truly am the definition of an animal lover. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in animal science. I was a veterinary technician at the Newport Animal Hospital, Jamestown Animal Clinic, and Newport Animal Clinic from 2018-2020, and I left to further my career/education in medical laboratory science. Since my graduation, I have moved to Hyannis to be a Medical Laboratory Scientist! With this though, being a veterinary technician was truly the best job in the world. I am properly equipped with the knowledge and the skills to provide only the best care for your pets. I live in a very loving, safe house with lots of land. Regarding the pets I've had, I rescued a 10 year old sweet bull terrier named Daisy, who was the love of my life and passed due to old age. I have since fostered multiple other bull terriers through Bull Terrier Rescue Mission to help get them to their forever home. I first started off in this field as a volunteer at a local animal shelter in 2016, and continued this at the MSPCA here in Centerville on my days off. I also have had a research position with Dr. Maria Hoffman, who is very involved with the AVS community at URI. This IS my passion, and I will give your animal(s) the love, compassion, and care they deserve.

Isabella and Connor (her equally awesome husband!) were everything I’d hoped they’d be in a dog sitter and more! I’m that “dog Mom” and was anxious about leaving him because he’s never been left with a sitter before but from the moment we started talking when I requested to book her, I could tell she was definitely who I wanted Roman to stay with and I’m so glad I did because I was not disappointed! she exceeded everything I pictured and more! She was amazing about keeping me updated throughout Roman’s stay with photos and messages, and she never once made me feel like I was bothering her when I checked in. I’m definitely that “dog mom”, and she was so patient, understanding, and reassuring every step of the way. Those updates meant the world to me and made it so much easier to enjoy my time away, knowing Roman was happy, loved, and in such great hands. In fact when I picked Roman up I knew he was taken care of just like I would have. He was so relaxed and calm and so happy! To be honest I could tell he he would be happy if he could have stayed longer. He actually was sad for the first day or two he was home and waited at the top of the stairs to get back in the car. I’m convinced it was to see them. I’m actually trying to figure reasons I need a dog sitter so I can book with them! I woud recommended them all day long. You won’t be disappointed and if you’re like me and wanting the best for your dog and would do anything for them, these are your people! Bonus: they have a great place and live way back off the street so I didn’t have to worry about that! Isabella & Connor-Roman and I can’t wait to see you guys again soon! :)

My fiancé and I were incredibly fortunate that Isabella was able to watch our Golden Retriever, Sunny, on such short notice. Isabella was very welcoming, and it was clear that Sunny felt comfortable in her home during the stay. We would highly recommend Isabella to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter. We will absolutely be booking with Isabella again the next time we head down to the Cape.

Isabella was awesome and gave me great peace of mind to leave my golden retriever with her for 2 nights, first time. She kept me well informed w texts and pics. My dog looked right at home, no surprise given Isabella's lifelong experience with animals.... intend to work with Isabella in the future and would highly recommend her services!!

All of us who are pet owners and treat them like family, know how hard it is to leave them behind when you go away. So you want to make sure you board them with someone who will provide for their needs like you would. And that person is Isabella! We left our two Springer Spaniels in her care and were extremely pleased with her warm heartedness, care, and daily communication. She made our mini-vacation a little bit nicer knowing our Springer girls were well taken care of! Highly recommend.

Isabella was super accommodating when I needed a last minute booking. This was my dog’s first stay with Isabella and I really appreciated all of the photos and updates she sent throughout the week. I could tell my dog was getting plenty of attention and I had zero stress while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Isabella again soon!

Isabella and her Fiancée, Connor, were amazing. Our dogs can be a bit needy and timid. Based on the daily pictures Isabella sent us, the pups were having the time of their lives (my golden retriever was actually a bit sad to leave.) Great at responding and flexible to our schedule. We’d absolutely use them again in the future.

I live in Centerville, so I can walk along the coast of the ocean, or throughout any neighborhoods or main street Hyannis if that is something you/your pet would enjoy! Depending on your dogs needs, I could bring toys/balls to play with, or use their favorites they already have! Everything is completely up to you and your comfort.
