I treat every pet as if they were my own and follow any rules or special requests given by the owner. I love cuddling and giving attention, but if a dog prefers to be left alone, I respect that. I keep pets on their regular routines as much as possible, including feeding what I’m instructed and making sure their environment stays safe and comfortable. When staying in the home, I respect the space and keep it tidy. During walks, dogs stay on leash unless the owner specifies dog park visits for dog-friendly pups. I’m mindful of other pets and people while walking, and I use any walking gear or shoes provided. I understand every dog has a unique personality, so I’m happy to follow any quirks or special instructions to ensure they feel happy and secure.

A typical day with a pet in my care is centered around their normal routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure pets are fed at their scheduled times and start the day with a morning walk or potty break. Throughout the day, I spend time playing, providing affection, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love taking photos, so I’ll send plenty of picture updates to keep you reassured while you’re away. I provide afternoon walks and enrichment through play and light training reinforcement if desired, such as basic commands and leash manners. For puppies, I’m happy to take them out more frequently to support potty training and routine building. For senior dogs, I keep activities calm and low-impact based on their energy level and needs. If approved by the owner, I’m happy to take dogs on adventures like beach walks, dog parks, or hikes. Dogs allowed in pools are always supervised closely. Safety and communication are my top priorities, if a vet visit is ever needed, I can provide transportation and will keep you informed every step of the way. In the evening, pets are fed, walked, and settled in for the night following their usual routine so they feel calm, secure, and at home.
