I treat every pet as if they were my own and follow any rules or special requests given by the owner. I love cuddling and giving attention, but if a dog prefers to be left alone, I respect that. I keep pets on their regular routines as much as possible, including feeding what I’m instructed and making sure their environment stays safe and comfortable. When staying in the home, I respect the space and keep it tidy. During walks, dogs stay on leash unless the owner specifies dog park visits for dog-friendly pups. I’m mindful of other pets and people while walking, and I use any walking gear or shoes provided. I understand every dog has a unique personality, so I’m happy to follow any quirks or special instructions to ensure they feel happy and secure.

To provide the best care possible, I like to learn a few things about your pet before our visit. This includes your dog’s name, breed, age, and daily routine. Please let me know about any special needs related to feeding, walking, activity levels, or medications. I also appreciate knowing how your dog does with new people, children, and other animals, as well as any fears, triggers, or quirks. It’s helpful to know your dog’s potty schedule and any signals they use when they need to go out. For safety and clarity, please share an emergency contact, your preferred vet, and any off-limit areas of the home. You’re also welcome to include favorite toys, treats, commands your dog knows, or anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and happy.
A typical day
A typical day with a pet in my care is centered around their normal routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure pets are fed at their scheduled times and start the day with a morning walk or potty break. Throughout the day, I spend time playing, providing affection, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love taking photos, so I’ll send plenty of picture updates to keep you reassured while you’re away. I provide afternoon walks and enrichment through play and light training reinforcement if desired, such as basic commands and leash manners. For puppies, I’m happy to take them out more frequently to support potty training and routine building. For senior dogs, I keep activities calm and low-impact based on their energy level and needs. If approved by the owner, I’m happy to take dogs on adventures like beach walks, dog parks, or hikes. Dogs allowed in pools are always supervised closely. Safety and communication are my top priorities, if a vet visit is ever needed, I can provide transportation and will keep you informed every step of the way. In the evening, pets are fed, walked, and settled in for the night following their usual routine so they feel calm, secure, and at home.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds, and all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’ve rescued and house-trained dogs, and have watched family pets on weekends, making sure they’re fed, walked, and loved. I also volunteer with POMDR, a dog rescue that specializes in senior dogs, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. I have my own Chihuahua, so I understand the care and attention every dog requires. I provide walks, drop-in visits, and loving care while leaving my own dog at home during services so your dog stays comfortable in their own environment. I’m also open to house sitting with the understanding that I may need brief time to check on my own dog at home. Isabella took care of my pet when needed, she was always available and happy to work with my pet. She loves animals, specially dogs. She walks them and takes her time to their needs, likes and dislikes, and if she has the opportunity to work with your pet, she likes to show them a trick or too.
