To provide the best care possible, I like to learn a few things about your pet before our visit. This includes your dog’s name, breed, age, and daily routine. Please let me know about any special needs related to feeding, walking, activity levels, or medications. I also appreciate knowing how your dog does with new people, children, and other animals, as well as any fears, triggers, or quirks. It’s helpful to know your dog’s potty schedule and any signals they use when they need to go out. For safety and clarity, please share an emergency contact, your preferred vet, and any off-limit areas of the home. You’re also welcome to include favorite toys, treats, commands your dog knows, or anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and happy.

A typical day with a pet in my care is centered around their normal routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure pets are fed at their scheduled times and start the day with a morning walk or potty break. Throughout the day, I spend time playing, providing affection, and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love taking photos, so I’ll send plenty of picture updates to keep you reassured while you’re away. I provide afternoon walks and enrichment through play and light training reinforcement if desired, such as basic commands and leash manners. For puppies, I’m happy to take them out more frequently to support potty training and routine building. For senior dogs, I keep activities calm and low-impact based on their energy level and needs. If approved by the owner, I’m happy to take dogs on adventures like beach walks, dog parks, or hikes. Dogs allowed in pools are always supervised closely. Safety and communication are my top priorities, if a vet visit is ever needed, I can provide transportation and will keep you informed every step of the way. In the evening, pets are fed, walked, and settled in for the night following their usual routine so they feel calm, secure, and at home.
