I am an animal loving graduate student (recently received my Masters’ degree in English and American Literature from NYU). I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and English, am currently studying Wildlife Rehabilitation. I have 21 years of personal experience caring for dogs and other small furry animals. I believe in gentle dog walking (no yanking or harsh words), and treat any animal that stays for daycare or overnight in my home like they are my own. I have particular expertise in caring for senior dogs and dogs with a variety of special needs, large or small, and am more than happy to accommodate problem behavior and any level of leash training. I tailor my care for each dog based on the owners’ needs and wishes and am extremely receptive to notes.

Isabel is absolutely amazing! I could tell right away she has experience working with all types of dogs. My dog is a bit hyper at first when meeting new people and Isabel was able to settle her and take her on a nice long walk. Jolene is so calm after her walk. I highly recommend anyone looking for someone to walk or dog sit to go to Isabel.

Schedule
I work part time and will be available for pet care most of each day! I care for pets according to their owners preferences and like to continue their preexisting routine for their comfort and security.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets in my home have access to beds, blankets, and all the furniture and to a small fenced in back patio. My patio door is screened and remains closed at all times as do my windows for safety. I always make sure they have access to clean, fresh water and a cooling fan on hotter days.
A typical day
I take all the dogs that come into my care on three or four walks a day, typically long and rambling. Your pup will be very loved and cuddled and be able to nap in my sunny apartment and lounge on all the furniture also. I work and study from home these days so I’ll always be around to supervise and give your pup lots of love.
