I trained and raised my own English Bulldog for 9 years, who grew into a special needs senior: blind in his later years and on multiple daily medications. Loving him through every stage taught me what bulldog parents already know: these dogs are one of a kind, and they need a sitter who understands them. Bulldogs aren't just low-maintenance couch potatoes, and I know the details that make the difference. I understand their stubbornness, heat sensitivities, and breathing issues. I stay on top of daily wrinkle cleaning and regular ear checks to prevent irritation and infections, and I'm happy to apply nose butter and follow your dog's grooming routine if needed. I also have the patience to work with a stubborn bulldog mood. Managing multiple daily medications and caring for a blind senior dog taught me to be organized, gentle, and attentive to any changes in routine, appetite, or behavior. My experience goes well beyond loving animals. I've worked at both a pet store and a local animal hospital, where I cared for a variety of animals, cleaned enclosures and kennels, maintained a sanitary environment, tracked food intake and behavior, and administered medications. Working alongside veterinary teams taught me to notice small changes and flag concerns early, so every animal in my care is safe, comfortable, and closely monitored. Don't have a bulldog?
