In 2011 my ex surprised me with a domestic shorthair kitten and in 2016 I rescued a 3 year old pocket pitbull and they've never been happier. I feel bad my apartment is so small but it's all I can afford right now and they made the best of it. I don't have my own back yard but there's a dog run I take her to less than 10 minutes away. I make sure both pets are well fed, I keep them clean, they get yearly check ups, I trained my dog with treats which worked like a charm. And I think both their personalities explain how well I nurture- she's very friendly, affectionate, and funny / entertaining. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood. There are plenty of other dogs for my dog to play with - in my building, on the block, at the park. My cat's in her own world but she loves certain people with a passion. I personally don't believe in crating. If the dog / cat misbehaves, I'll put them on time out, but not in a cage. And I'll reward them for good behavior with treats.

I work 6 days a week but still have time for the pets. 8 hours of work a day, the rest of the day home with the pets

My place is clean. I have a very good housekeeper who comes every two weeks. I will take care of your pet whether its in my home or yours.
Pets
A typical day
I'll take other people's dogs the same places I walk my own dog - around the block, around the neighborhood, or in the park. Or, I'll take her into the fenced dog run where I can let her off the leash and she can run around and play with other dogs. There, we can also play fetch or tug of war, etc. In my house, I'll gladly feed your dog and provide constant love and affection. What can I say? I'm a dog lover.
