When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routines and the client’s boundaries to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure food, water, and medications (when applicable) are given on schedule, and I keep things tidy! For walks, I adjust to each dog’s energy level and needs, making sure they get safe, engaging exercise while also practicing good leash manners. I love to provide updates and photos so you know your pets are happy and cared for.

A typical day
I love to keep fur babies happy, active, and engaged, while making sure I am in tune with their moods and behaviors. Doggies and I will go on walks to explore new smells, play, and enjoy downtime. For cats, I make sure to give them playtime with toys, enrichment, and attention. I follow their personalities and comfort levels. My goal is to balance exercise, mental stimulation, and relaxation so they feel fulfilled and cared for!

Pet care experience
I have both depth and variety in my animal experience! I’ve been around big dogs like Rottweilers and GSDs since a kid, which has given me confidence and ease with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I have 3 cats of my own, so I am also very familiar and comfortable with caring for cats too :). Beyond big and small dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for other animals that have further taught me patience, adaptability, and an appreciation and respect for each animal’s unique needs. I’ve even trained my own puppy, so I understand the dedication it takes to balance love, structure, and consistency. My lifelong connection with animals isn’t a skill, it’s a passion and a part of my life. I promise your pets will always be cared for with expertise, safety, and affection!

Our husky mix loves Isabel! Bandit is equal parts shy and stubborn, and she was so attentive and patient with him. He was nervous about being in the house with a new person, and Isabel picked up on his behavior right away and it's like she knew exactly what to do to keep him calm and feeling safe. We really appreciated her keen eye for detail with his schedule, his needs, and his weird quirks. I highly recommend Isabel if you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to walk or care for your pets!
I cannot say enough great things about Isabel! We needed a house and dog sitter for our 3 German shepherds, and she came to the rescue. She handled our fearful/anxious dog with calm and ease, and she made us feel reassured right away they were in the right hands. She cared for our dogs as if they were her own, followed their routines to a tee, and communicated regularly with photos and updates. Our dogs are very selective about people, and we could tell they were so happy and secure with her! She goes above and beyond and has a natural way with dogs that is next level. We absolutely recommend Isabel if you want the best care for your pets!
