Dog sitting in my home
Hi, I love dogs and have a large fenced yard in Kent near Kent State, I offer overnight dog sitting and doggy day care in my home for short or long stays. I have a 2 year old playful hound mix and an older cat, but I can block the stairs so he can have her own space (if your dog isn’t cat friendly) I will give your dog lots of attention and in addition to the fenced yard, I will walk them around the neighborhood, typically going on at least two walks a day. As well, I will take him or her to the unofficial neighborhood fenced "dog park" (if they like to play with other dogs). I am an Art professor at KSU, I have two college aged kids and we love dogs! I recently took a break from boarding because of my new dog but he seems to get along well with other dogs, he’s a bit intense but not aggressive. I always like to do a meet and greet to see if the dogs get along well. I live close to campus and come home in between classes to let dogs out, as well, I work from home quite a lot and have summers and breaks off.

Quin had such a great time with Isabel and Philo! Communication was prompt and pictures were provided daily. It was clear Quin was well cared for and didn’t miss us at all! Thanks Isabel!
Isabel is so accommodating. We have an older dog and she totally gets what he needs and keeps him healthy and active. We know he is getting the best care.
Isabel was very good with communication and keeping us up to date on how the stay was going. Our dog had a wonderful time, got lots of exercise and personal attention! We will definitely book again for future trips!

Programa
My schedule is pretty flexible so when I’m working outside of my home it’s rarely more than 4 hours that I’m gone. I also have my kids around to help if I’m not home.

I have a fenced yard but take the dogs for walks. I can separate dogs as needed and have two crates that can be used for dogs that need crating when I’m gone.

Play in the yard and lots of walks! Lots of attention! Your dog's sleeping arrangement wherever they want, wherever they feel comfortable (and whatever works with my dog).
