I’ve looked after pets for friends, family, and neighbors for years, and I’ve had two dogs and two cats of my own. People have trusted me to stop by their homes to feed their pets, let them out, and hang out with them for a bit so they’re not alone. I’ve also helped with things like giving medication, giving baths, and just making sure the pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. Recently, I’ve gotten some experience working with a blind and deaf dog, which taught me a lot about being patient and learning how to understand a pet’s needs without relying on sight or sound. I think what sets me apart is how much I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and how comfortable I am with different types of care, whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet that needs a little extra love.
