Vet Student: Trustworthy Care
As a vet student at OVC with over 1,000 hours of professional animal experience, I offer a level of care most sitters can’t. Between my clinical background as a veterinary assistant and my time working at a dog daycare and training facility, I’m deeply experienced in reading dog behavior, managing puppies, and caring for seniors. I’m also the Junior Canine Representative for the OVC Animal Behaviour Club, so I use positive, patient handling techniques to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and thoroughly spoiled!

Whether I’m staying at your place or visiting for drop-ins and walks, my goal is to keep your pet’s routine exactly as it would be if you were home. Thanks to my vet school training and daycare experience, I tailor my care to what each individual animal needs.

Isaac was great, he has a really kind way about how he approaches new animals, even my very suspicious cat came over for some pets! He made sure that he was clear on what my furkids needed, and sent some cute pics so I could see them while we were away.
Isaac is incredible with animals. He is truly reliable, professional and kind. My dog was a rescue with behavioural issues and Isaac was able to bond with her and build trust with her so that I didn't have to worry. He is so patient and with Isaac aspiring and on his way to becoming a veterinarian, there is no one else I fully trust to take care of my dog. Isaac has so much dog knowledge and awareness that I 100% recommend him.

Schedule
As a current vet student, pet care easily fits into my daily life outside of my class and clinical schedule! I structure my days around pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks, making sure your pet’s routine stays completely consistent. Whether it’s early morning walks before my morning lectures, afternoon drop-ins and medication visits between classes, or dedicated evening companionship and play, I build my routine around giving your pet reliable, attentive care.

- To give your pet the best and safest possible care, I like to know a few key details before our first visit: Medical & Dietary Needs: Any ongoing health conditions, daily medication schedules (dosages and administration tricks), food allergies, and exact feeding routines. Behavioral Quirks & Triggers: How they react to other dogs, bikes, or strangers on walks, any separation anxiety, resource guarding, or fear triggers (like thunder or loud noises). Daily Routine & Energy Levels: Their usual walk schedule, favorite games, crate habits, and where they are allowed to go in the home. Veterinary & Emergency Contacts: Your preferred vet clinic, an emergency local contact, and any specific emergency protocols you prefer. Getting these details upfront allows me to use my veterinary background to provide a seamless, stress-free experience tailored specifically to your pet’s needs!
