Before joining Rover, I worked for free because I simply love animals and wanted to help people in my community. Over time, my passion grew into a professional career where I get to do what I love every day — caring for dogs and making pet parents’ lives easier. I’m also an up-and-coming book writer, which means I’m extremely organized, focused, and detail-oriented. I take notes on every dog I care for so I can fully understand their personality, quirks, and needs. I always do meet & greets before starting any job so that your pet feels comfortable and you can feel confident that they’re in safe hands. I’m calm, patient, and dependable, even in the most stressful or chaotic situations — whether it’s handling a dozen energetic pups, an overly affectionate dog, or cleaning up big messes (which I always do so well you’d never know it happened!). I can handle pregnant dogs, multiple pets, and any breed, and I even offer free basic training for dogs who need a little help with manners — as long as they’re not aggressive. I understand all a dog’s cues — when they’re happy, nervous, or uneasy — and I always listen to what they’re trying to communicate. I take pride in the fact that I’ve never failed a single dog I’ve worked with, no matter how challenging the job was. The only pets I don’t take are aggressive or unpredictable dogs that have a tendency to bite, nip. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and positive experience for every animal I care for. I’m quick to respond to requests and open to long-term clients who want a sitter they can rely on year-round.
