Information Isaac D. would like to know about your pet
To provide the very best care, I like to learn as much as possible about your dog’s personality, health, routine, and environment before we begin. Every dog and every home is unique, and understanding their habits helps me create a safe, calm, and happy experience while you’re away. Before our first visit, please share any details that will help me care for your dog safely and confidently, including: 🐾 Daily Routine: Their normal feeding times, potty breaks, walking schedule, and bedtime habits — I’ll follow your routine closely to keep things consistent and familiar. 🐾 Behavior & Temperament: How they respond to new people, animals, or environments — including any reactivity, shyness, or protective instincts I should be aware of. 🐾 Health & Medical Needs: Any medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, or mobility challenges. I’m experienced with senior dogs and those needing extra care and always make their comfort and well-being my top priority. 🐾 Post-Surgery or Healing Care: If your dog is recovering from surgery or medical treatment, please share their care plan — vet instructions, medication timing, wound care, or movement restrictions (like avoiding stairs or jumping). I’ll carefully follow all guidance to ensure proper healing and comfort, monitoring for pain or stress and updating you if I notice anything unusual. 🐾 Training & Commands: Which cues or words your dog already knows. I’ll reinforce your training methods to maintain consistency and positive behavior. 🐾 Triggers or Fears: Any situations, sounds, or sights that may cause anxiety — such as thunderstorms, loud vehicles, or specific routes — so I can handle those moments with patience and reassurance. 🐾 Playtime & Comfort: Their favorite toys, games, or soothing routines that help them relax and enjoy their time. 🐾 Home Rules: Your household expectations — such as furniture access, crate use, and sleeping arrangements. 🐾 Multiple Dogs or Special Circumstances: If there are multiple dogs in your home, please let me know if any of them need to be separated for safety or behavioral reasons — such as aggression, resource guarding, or different play styles. If any female dog is in heat, please inform me right away so I can take proper precautions during walks or playtime to prevent unwanted mating. If there’s a pregnant dog or a mother with puppies, I have experience with puppy care and can handle their specific needs — but I’ll need to know details about their feeding schedules, nursing routines, and any vet instructions to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe. 🐾 Neighborhood & Safety Details: If it’s my first time in your area, please share any useful notes about the neighborhood — uneven sidewalks, stray animals, traffic-heavy spots, or areas you’d prefer we avoid. I always plan safe, peaceful walking routes that keep your dog comfortable and happy. 🐾 On-the-Job Safety & Protection (Non-Violent): Your dog’s safety always comes first. I never use violence or force, but I am highly skilled in non-violent deterrence and de-escalation techniques — including confident body language, voice control, redirection, and safe retreat methods. I stay extremely aware of my surroundings at all times and use strong street smarts to recognize potential risks early, such as stray animals or suspicious activity. If I ever sense danger, I act quickly and calmly to remove your dog from the area and return safely home. I’m trained to stay composed under pressure, ensuring your pet’s safety and comfort in every situation. 🐾 Emergency Contacts & Vet Info: Please provide your veterinarian’s contact details and an emergency contact so I can respond promptly and responsibly if needed. And if there’s ever something you don’t know or can’t provide — that’s completely okay! I’m highly adaptable and skilled at reading dogs and environments. I can quickly assess what your dog needs, adjust to new routines, and ensure they’re cared for safely and happily no matter the situation. The more I know, the better I can provide a loving, consistent, and safe experience that mirrors the care they get from you — but if anything’s missing, I’ll always figure it out calmly and professionally. My goal is simple: to keep tails wagging, hearts calm, and your mind completely at ease. 🐶❤️
A typical day
Every day I spend with dogs feels like a good day — because for me, pet care isn’t just a service, it’s something I truly love. I understand that every family — and every dog — has their own unique rhythm, so I always follow your pet’s established schedule to make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and right at home. When I’m house sitting, I live by your dog’s routine — from meal times and walks to bedtime snuggles and playtime traditions. Whether it’s keeping their favorite blanket nearby, staying on track with medication, or following a quiet nighttime routine, I make sure everything feels exactly the way your dog is used to. Your home will always be treated with the same care and respect I give to my own. During drop-in visits, I focus on what your dog needs most in that moment — sometimes that’s an energetic game of fetch, sometimes it’s a little extra love and calm companionship. I take care of feeding, water refreshes, and any special instructions you leave, all while keeping your pup happy and stress-free until you’re back home. For dog walks, available daily between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM, I make each outing a mix of fun and relaxation. I follow your dog’s pace and preferences — whether that’s a brisk neighborhood walk or a slower stroll for senior pups who like to sniff and explore. Please note: I don’t offer walks after 11:00 PM. When caring for older dogs or pets with medical needs, I bring extra patience, gentleness, and close attention to detail. I’m comfortable with medication schedules, assisting with mobility, and providing calm reassurance for dogs who may need a little extra help or time. Their comfort and dignity always come first. I’m also experienced and confident with dogs of all temperaments — from playful and high-energy to shy, anxious, or even reactive. I approach every dog with calm energy, patience, and respect, creating a safe and positive environment for everyone. 🐾 Free Puppy Training Included! For families with young dogs, I offer complimentary basic puppy training during my visits and stays. I focus on positive reinforcement, social behavior, and gentle structure to help puppies grow into well-mannered, confident companions. I also work on easing early signs of reactivity or aggression — helping them build trust and good habits from the start. Cleanliness and comfort are also a big part of my care. I’m extremely clean and responsible, always leaving your home just as you left it (or better!). I have no problem cleaning up after pets, washing their dishes or bedding, and even bathing dogs if you’d like — because I believe a happy pup is also a clean, comfortable one. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to give your pets consistent, loving care that mirrors the life you’ve built with them — keeping tails wagging, hearts happy, and routines steady while you’re away. With me, your pets don’t just get a sitter — they get a dependable, understanding friend who truly loves what they do. 🐾

Pet care experience
🐾 A Lifetime of Love, Now Sharing It Through Rover Hi! I’m Isaac, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 9 years. Before joining Rover, I worked for free because I simply love animals and wanted to help people in my community. Over time, my passion grew into a professional career where I get to do what I love every day — caring for dogs and making pet parents’ lives easier. I’m also an up-and-coming book writer, which means I’m extremely organized, focused, and detail-oriented. I take notes on every dog I care for so I can fully understand their personality, quirks, and needs. I always do meet & greets before starting any job so that your pet feels comfortable and you can feel confident that they’re in safe hands. I’m calm, patient, and dependable, even in the most stressful or chaotic situations — whether it’s handling a dozen energetic pups, an overly affectionate dog, or cleaning up big messes (which I always do so well you’d never know it happened!). I can handle pregnant dogs, multiple pets, and any breed, and I even offer free basic training for dogs who need a little help with manners — as long as they’re not aggressive. I understand all a dog’s cues — when they’re happy, nervous, or uneasy — and I always listen to what they’re trying to communicate. I take pride in the fact that I’ve never failed a single dog I’ve worked with, no matter how challenging the job was. The only pets I don’t take are aggressive or unpredictable dogs that have a tendency to bite, nip. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and positive experience for every animal I care for. I’m quick to respond to requests and open to long-term clients who want a sitter they can rely on year-round. If you’re looking for someone who’s passionate, responsible, and treats your pets like family, I’d love to be your go-to sitter! 🐶💙 Hi there! I’m so excited to be offering my dog sitting, walking, and drop-in services here on Rover. While I may be new to the platform, I’m definitely not new to caring for dogs! For the past 9 years, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for family, friends, and neighbors — caring for pups of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve learned that every dog is wonderfully unique — and they deserve care that’s just as personal. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for some playtime and cuddles, a long refreshing walk, or overnight house sitting, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. Here’s what makes my care a little different: 🐶 Heartfelt, Personalized Attention I don’t just “check in” — I connect. I take time to learn each dog’s quirks, favorite games, and comfort zones. Whether your dog is shy, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, I adjust my approach to make them feel completely at ease. 🚶 Walks That Nurture Mind & Body Walks with me are more than just a potty break — they’re time for enrichment, sniffing adventures, and positive energy. I match your dog’s pace and personality to make each walk both fun and fulfilling. 🏡 Respectful, Reliable Care at Home When I’m in your home, you can trust I’ll treat it — and your pets — with the same care and respect I give my own. You’ll always receive clear communication, photo updates, and peace of mind knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for. ❤️ Built on Experience, Fueled by Love I’ve spent nearly a decade caring for dogs simply because I love it. Now, joining Rover lets me do what I love most — bringing comfort, joy, and trust to pets and their people. Your dog isn’t just another booking — they become part of my extended furry family. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, not just someone who “sits,” I’d love to meet your pup! 🐾
