I’m currently working part-time at the pet store and I love caring for animals in my spare time. My schedule varies but I work a 6 hour day most of the time.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or quirks. My specialty is small breeds and puppies. Large dogs ok but I don’t have much experience with them. Please specify any dietary restrictions as far as treats or human foods because I like to share.
A typical day
I love to take long walks with dogs and let them smell till their heart’s content. I like to play fetch and games. Mental stimulation is very important as well so if you show me their tricks I will be sure to practice them.

Pet care experience
I have 5 years of pet store experience with all varieties of pets. From small, furry, cold blooded, feathered, big, slimy, baby and seniors. I have cared for, bathed, medicated, walked, trained, fed, watered and loved all of them. I am also the go to sitter for about 5-7 of my friends and family currently. I’m 38 and I’ve been caring for pets since I was about 12.

Iris was great, there was lots of communication and pictures so we were positive Zander was having a great time while we were gone. She also went above and beyond watching our house which was in great shape when we returned! I would highly recommend and already know who I would use if we need a dog and or house sitter!
Iris has been working with animals for a very long time, at different animal establisments, such as zoos, pet stores, and specialty puppy stores. I have had many friends use her services, she is very reliable, and can understand any personality type of a variety of pets. Cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, reptiles, insects, she can do it all!
