I've worked with vets, and at pet stores. I know how to care for guinea pigs to birds to dogs and cats. Pets are like family to me I grew up around animals all my life. I have done many house sittings and drop ins along with dog walking. I see animals as family and to me it's just as babysitting, afterall I'm sure they are your babies. I'm free to take care of your animals as needed. I do have three cats of my own. I have had family dogs, so I love taking care of them as well. You tell me how things need to be done and they will be done that way. I will get everything done in a timely manner and treat your pet like my own. I love dogs and cats so they will get lots of attention as they want it. Any rules you have will be followed.

Iris is great. She sent a few pictures of my doggie girls while we were away and cleaned up after them after they chewed up sticks that they brought in through the doggie door. (They do this daily!)

I have never left a bad review before but we had such a bad experience with Iris. We hired Iris to house sit with our dog while we were out of town. Iris did not show up until 2 hours after she said she would on the first day. We were wondering if she was going to show up or if we were going to have to drive back from Denver the same day we left home. Our garage door and our front door notify us when someone comes and goes so we knew Lucy was not being taken care of. The third day she left my dog alone from 9:10 AM until 10:05 PM (13 hours) and she was not supposed to be left for over 8 hours. We had to have a neighbor come and feed our dog at 8:30 PM and let her out because we didn't know if Iris was going to show up. Iris was supposed to watch our dog, Lucy, for 8 days but we were so stressed after the first three days that we had to find someone else to take Lucy for the remainder of the time we were going to be out of town. We paid $217 through Rover for her service which we were only refunded $68 plus we left her $80 cash she requested for gas, $10 per day. Even though she only was here 4 days (3 really) she took the entire $80. She is unreliable and not trust worthy. We will not be using her again. In fact it was such a bad experience we won't be using Rover again.
