What sets me apart is that dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve lived with at least one dog my entire life—from growing up with a Husky/German Shepherd mix and helping care for her, to having a Pug/Dachshund mix who I took on daily walks after school. Now that I live on my own, I don’t have a dog of my own, but I really miss having a furry companion around! I’d love the opportunity to give your dog some extra attention, exercise, and companionship through walks, playtime, or visits. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs, and I’m happy to follow your routines and instructions to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for.

I care for pets with the same patience, attention, and consistency I would want for my own pets. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure pets are safe and comfortable in their environment and keep their space clean. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, routines, preferences, and any special instructions from their owner. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel comfortable while their family is away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for.
Ratings and reviews
Iris took care of my dog while I was away on a work trip for one week. During that time she was so kind to my dog and took her out on multiple walks a day. I was not worried at all about the quality of care and she sent pictures every day of my happy and healthy dog. I highly recommend Iris if you’re looking for a pet sitter or dog walker!

Schedule
I am working as a substitute teacher and have some flexibility depending on my schedule to walk dogs. I can also drop in for visits as needed. Weekends are open for house sitting but needs to be booked in advance.
