Availability
I’m currently working part time as part of the 3rd year of my University degree. I work full days Monday, Wednesday and Friday & afternoons on Tuesday & Thursday. I am almost always able to work remotely apart from a couple of in-person meetings on a Tuesday & Wednesday. However, if your animal is able to be left up to 3 hours, I can work remotely & only leave them for the meetings I have. I will ensure dogs do not leave the house without a lead and will assess my comfort level with the security of your garden before leaving any dogs off leash in there. Dogs will be kept away from any hazardous foods or beverages and will be supervised at all times when I am in the house.

Please do let me know when booking of any special care your dog may require so I can look after them to the best of my ability. It’s great to also know: Are they walked on or off lead? Do they have good recall? Are they friendly with other dogs? Have they got a daily routine you’d like me to stick to? Are you comfortable with me taking them on adventures that involve us driving places? Any training I should be keeping up with whilst you are away.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on enriching walks with plenty of opportunity and time to sniff to their hearts content. Depending on your dog, I can accommodate off lead walks and walks where we will encounter other dogs for socialisation. I also love to play with dogs at home too and enjoy setting up snuffle mats or other enrichment activities for them to figure out!

Pet care experience
I have trained both of my dogs since pups teaching them core skills like sit, paw, spin and speak. I also taught them both lead manners and toilet training. I have previously sat for dogs requiring daily oral medication.

Iris is a wonderful, caring, fun and compassionate companion for your pets. She has cared for our dogs and cat on numerous occasions and they welcome her home each time like she’s their best friend in the world. She loves to have fun with them but is also amazing and training them. Errol was such a puller on the lead but with a bit of time and patience she got him out of this habit. Can’t recommend her enough to be a companion for your pets whilst you are away from them.
