I grew up with two Jack Russell Terriers and have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have also looked after the dogs of friends and neighbours, from small breeds to large ones. I enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy and cared for while you’re away.

Iris took such wonderful care of Harry, she was calm, confident and clearly very experienced with dogs. Harry needs someone who is confident and can take the lead on walks, and Iris handled this really well. I felt completely at ease knowing that Harry was in her care, and I’m so grateful that she was able to help us at such short notice. Harry had a wonderful stay with Iris while we were on holiday, and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Iris is great with pets and has experience with a range of different animals, like dogs, cats and rabbits. She loves animals and is an active person that finds the right balance of care, rest and activity for the dogs she cares for and gives them the attention they require. In the past, she has cared well for my Beagel, giving him the ideal balance of enriching activities and cozy rest. I recommend her to take of your pet, especially dogs!

Schedule
I am working part-time and from home, so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your dog. I usually go for a walk along the beach and in the park in the afternoon.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a nice apartment with a balcony, right by the sea. The building has an elevator, so your pet will not need to go up stairs. There is plenty of room for a dog bed, but of course your dog is more than welcome to lay on one of my couches.
A typical day
We will go for plenty of walks (or run, if your dog is down) along the beach or in a park. I usually have a ball or toy with me for your dog to play with. Some days, if your dog is okay with it, I will take the dog to a pet friendly cafe for a fika with friends, where they will get plenty of cuddles.
