Veterinary technician
Growing up as an only child allowed me to have pets all my life. I eventually started growing a huge passion and interest in learning to care for animals professionally. I applied for a veterinary technician college in 2015 and when I graduated, I got hired at an Animal Hospital. I’ve been a veterinary technician for 10 years now and since then I’ve learned to work with dogs, cats, exotic animals, reptiles, farm animals and more. I’ve specialized in assisting in surgeries, pre op/post op and also hospitalized patients. I’ve worked with healthy and and all kinds of sick animals. Especially for the senior babies, I know how to properly medicate and assist them. I moved into an apartment and stopped doing rover for years but I now have a house with a huge yard for pets to run around in!

I’ve boarded both my dogs with Iris about 4 times at the same time! She’s my go to. To the point when she moved I had to find her. And my pups and I were so happy we did. She goes above and beyond.
We needed a pet sitter & a house sitter - found Iris. She came over for a meet & greet and we explained we need someone to stay with our 2-dogs. Our home was well-kept & the dogs seemed happy.
Iris was great!!!! Binx really enjoyed his stay and was so happy to have made friends with her dogs!! He was even a little sad to not see them anymore ?. Will definitely book her again in the future
Iris was so great with my two dogs. She gave me updates when I asked or when going on walks and everything went smoothly! We will definitely be using her again. My dogs were happy and healthy when we returned home.

I can’t be more appreciative of Iris and her care and compassion and easy going personality! She is knowledgeable about proper dog introductions. She listened to what we had to say- offered suggestions that worked!! And she was so kind to clip my dogs nails while she had them! They needed it bad. I highly recommend her for your fur baby daycare needs! It’s a drive for us but I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work a part time job 10-15 minutes from my house depending on traffic. Some days I work from home. I can take the pets out as much as I need to. If they require additional walking or assistance due to illnesses, I can make that happen!

I have a house with a big back yard. Boarding pets can roam freely or if they need to be crated while I step out, that is fine too. I can accommodate to anything!

A typical day
We can play in the big back yard. I have some toys and specific ones to stimulate the mind with treats. I am able to walk in the neighborhood either long or shorts walks.
