On dog walks, I keep dogs on a lead at all times unless we're in a safely enclosed area. I also have a spare long lead so your dog can have a bit more of a run/sniff around :) I aim to take dogs to green spaces for lots of sniffs and mental stimulation, and try to walk in quieter spots away from heavy traffic. I always carry a pocket full of yummy treats and toys so we have lots of fun :) At home, I follow the owner's directions accordingly, and keep to a familiar routine in order to minimise stress for your pet. I always take the same safety measures and behave responsibly as I would with one of my own pets.

I need to know whether your pet is fearful or nervous, and if so, what are their triggers? (bicycles, children, noises, other dogs, etc). Do they have any special needs, allergies, treat preferences? Please let me know if you would prefer that I don't feed your pet treats!
Ein typischer Tag
I prioritise giving your dog plenty of time to explore and sniff around, and we might practice some tricks :) At home I can play with your pet using their toys, feed treats and give plenty of cuddles and fuss! Do let me know about your pet's ideal routine, what their favourite toys and treats are etc, and I will do my best to follow it exactly to your guidelines :)

Hi! I'm Iris, I'm a dog walker and pet sitter with a passion for all things animals. I have years of personal experience in pet care and have just finished a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Training, so I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure the happiness and safety of your fur babies :) I also have personal experience with reactive and fearful dogs which has given me valuable insights into the unique challenges they face. I hold a robust understanding of positive reinforcement training techniques thanks to my studies and firmly believe in using patience, compassion and tailored approaches to help animals overcome their fears and to build confidence. I NEVER use punishments or 'corrections' when an animal does something I do not like: my interactions/interventions with animals are always force-free and reward-based, with their welfare at the forefront of everything I do <3 Thanks for reading! :)

Iris was amazing, our cat is very shy and nervous so we were worries to leave her for our holiday but Iris made us feel very comfortable. Seeing her detailed rover cards daily was really the highlight of our days! We will definitely be booking with her again.
Iris has taken care of Wilson a few times now, she’s so caring and sends updates and pics of each visit. I will continue to use Iris for any future trips. Thank you

I can't thank you enought Iris for her an amazing job and love for my kitties. Iris come in to my house every night for 2 weeks and gave lots of ententions and played to kitties, not just feed and clean litter. I have received photos and videos every night, and seen that my both cats are very happy and not stressing at all. After I back home, for next few nights my kitties was sitting on the window sill and was waiting for Iris ❤️ I highly recommend Iris if you want to leave your loved ones with no stress, she does her job with big love 💕
