My name is Irina. I have loved animals for my entire life and love all dogs (and all pets) as if they were my own (: I have now been on Rover for seven years so if you have any questions please let me know I have a lot of experience! A little about me: I'm currently a stay at home mom to my (now 7) year old animal loving son! I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, etc. I also enjoy photography. I have always lived with at least one dog in my home, of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I've also had cats, reptiles, rodents, horses, goats, and fish. I served in the U.S. Army for 8 years as an engineer, and have an excellent work experience, I am just taking this time to focus on raising my son which is why my schedule is now so open and flexible! I am doing this now because I am more than ready to accept another job that allows me to still be with my son at home, and help fellow animal lovers! I am doing this because I genuinely enjoy all animals and I enjoy staying busy. I am completely comfortable caring for all animals! (*if I am not comfortable I will be sure to let you know.. I will not accept animals that I cannot handle*) When your dog is here, he or she will be treated as a family member, and have full access to our home and fenced yard. I can place baby gates up as needed. Usually I use them when I move around the home between the first and second floor, so no one is left unsupervised. I keep a very clean and pet safe home. We live a very active lifestyle and I walk multiple times a day, so a lack of excersize should not be a concern. ( I really walk A LOT). If you want me to take your dog hiking or to the lake anytime, just let me know and I'd love the company! If your dog just wants to hang out and sleep they can do that, too! I have recently opened up my schedule to allow for a couple dogs here at one time! My home is perfect for dogs who like to be in a family environment (unlike a traditional boarding facility). I do not accept many dogs in my home at once but there will likely be others during your pets stay. With that being said, I only accept one new client at once with dogs I already know. High energy is completely fine with me! But once again, I only accept well mannered dogs into my home! For drop in visits and house/pet sitting: just let me know when and where! I am very reliable and easygoing. I typically try to spend around a half hour or an hour for drop ins unless you request for me to stay longer. I am very tidy and organized. Depending on the duration I can water plants, brush your pet, do some light cleaning, whatever you need done, I'm happy to help. Again, I am very flexible and accommodating. Communication (on both ends) is VERY important to me. I love to take and send photos to you! I'll send you frequent updates (if you want).
