I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was about 10 years old, so having animals in my life has always felt very natural to me. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs with very different personalities, ages, energy levels, and needs. I pay a lot of attention to how an animal communicates - what makes them comfortable, what makes them nervous, when they want interaction, and when they need a little space. I know how important familiar routines are, especially when their person is away, and I’m happy to follow the feeding, walking, playtime, medication, and other routines your pet is used to.

I care for pets in their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment and follow their usual routine. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and any special care your pet may need. I pay close attention to their behavior and body language, respect their boundaries, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For house sitting, I always meet with you and your pet beforehand so we can go over their routine, home instructions, and anything else I should know before the stay.

I’ve known Irina for over 30 years, and I’ve always noticed how naturally animals trust her. Even the more shy or cautious ones seem to warm up to her pretty quickly, which says a lot. She’s really intuitive with animals and pays attention to the small things like their body language and little habits. She takes her time getting to know each pet and adjusts to them, not the other way around. She’s patient, calm, and you can tell that she genuinely enjoys being around them. Her place is clean, cozy, and I think very comfy for animals. It feels like a safe and relaxed space where doggos can settle in easily. Irina herself is a very organized and attentive person in general. She’s taken care of my dog Zin, and I always felt totally at ease leaving Zin with her. Honestly, Zin enjoys spending time with her so much that he’s never really in a hurry to leave, which probably tells you everything you need to know. I’d definitely recommend Irina to anyone looking for someone who will truly understand and care for their pet.

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting around my workday. I arrange visit times with each client in advance and do my best to keep your pet’s usual schedule consistent. For house sitting, I can work remotely from your home, which allows me to spend more time there with your pets.
