A typical day
What You’re Paying For: - 24 Hour Care: Yup! There won’t be one second where your pup is left alone at home. The reason for booking in advance is so that I can ensure throughout the duration of their stay with me, I’m by your doggy’s side at all times. If I do end up having to step out for whatever reason, I take them right along side with me on whatever adventure we end up needing to go on. At the end of the day, being separated from pup parents can put a lot of stress on any pup and cause moderate to severe separation anxiety. By being their for your babies at all times, it helps cope with any depression or anxiety they may possibly go through, and I’d be able to distract them in whichever way cheers them up most so that they end up feeling like they too are getting a little get away/vacation as well !! - Day In The Life Of: I ask multiple questions during our meet and greet or phone meet and greet to ensure that your pups are being treated exactly how they would if they were at home. I take multiple notes and jot down their daily rituals/schedule so that my home feels just as close to their true home, which also helps with being separated from their family. - Active Pups Are Happy Pups: Since my home is fully gated, I’m able to take out your pups multiple times throughout the day/night and play with them without you having to worry while you’re away about their safety or them possibly escaping. Whatever game they enjoy most, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, chasing, etc., I make sure to get them up, outside into some fresh air, and moving n’ grooving! If I see or take note from you that your pup lives a more sporty/active lifestyle, I’ll also have them join me on my early morning/late night runs so that come by bedtime, they sleep like a puppy. Every pup I take care of comes back home more fit and in some cases even appear more muscular/slimmed down depending on how many days they end up staying with me (for the ones that are caring some extra weight around especially! Haha!). - Videos Galore: Rover does a great job with being able to share pictures during your doggy’s stay, but I personally am a sucker for taking videos. Videos help you actually see your pup in action more so beyond what a picture can throughout a dog’s stay. With that said, I’ve created an Instagram account specifically for pup parents so that they’re able to see what their pup is up to throughout the day. It also gives you the opportunity to see live what you doggy’s are are up to, where they are and happening around them, makes kiddos (if you have sons or daughters who are deeply in love with there doggos) even more so happy, and ultimately we can fine tweak/change anything that you catch on to/notice along the way (which most clients find very convenient and beneficial) that could further make their stay with me that much more enjoyable while you’re away! - Let’s Vacay: Want to send your pup on a mini vacation as well? Say no more! Let’s Go! One of the many questions I ask pup parents is if they’d like for me to take their beloved pups to go on one last spontaneous adventure during their last day with yours truly. Whether it be going to their favorite doggy park, beach, or even something as simple as taking them to Petco to splurge on some new toys/doggy treats from the doggy bar, we’ll make it happen! - No Matter the Weather: Come rain or shine, there’s no excuse for your pup to stay inside. Normally after booking your pups stay, I send a quick checklist so you don’t have to worry or stress about possibly forgetting anything your pups may need while they’re in my care. One of the items I wrote down on that checklist is to bring your pups favorite doggy shampoo (just incase they have sensitive skin or use a specific brand of doggy soap) so that no matter the weather, we can still get out, and play! Aside from giving them baths on rainy days, always after every walk/run/play session during normal days, I wipe down they’re paws and mouth with towels, baby wipes & pick off any debris that may have gotten stuck on their fur. Come night time, I comb out their coat before bedtime to take out any left over debris/fur they may have shed from that day, and also do one last wipe down so that they stay happy, healthy, and clean (It also helps relax and put them right to sleep). The only difference on rainy days is that I add to their ritual a nice warm bath right before bed so that they can go to sleep extra, squeaky clean instead of possibly having any left over mud/debris/wet pup smell stuck on them. - Safety First: If your pup is pet friendly and staying with other pooches during their boarding session, I still make sure to take extra precautions regardless, and keep them separated during feeding hours, sharing treats, etc. just to make sure that no accidents happen. If I‘m made aware that your pup has certain fears or reactions during walks or any other activity, I also take extra note of that and do my best to avoid and/or make sure to be even more so vigilant during those periods, and take any appropriate actions needed to keep them and everything around them safe and far away from harms way. I always ask all pup parents about their pups health history, but still refrain from sharing bowls, toys, etc. just as an extra safety step so that there’s no swapping of saliva or anything of that matter if one pup gets something while being outside or playing in the grass that the other pups were not exposed to. I also ask for veterinary contact information so that if they were to end up being exposed to anything of concern, I can take them to their vet right away instead of waiting till you come back home. - Before You Go Home: Before each pup heads back home to their family, I feed them one last time, take them out on one last long walk, and give them one last bath so that you can rest, relax, and just enjoy being back home with your pup babies on your last day off without having to do anything to strenuous but get settled back in and ready for the next day. - Let’s Learn Some Tricks: If your pup is willing/receptive to it, I try and teach them some helpful new tricks they can take with them back home and show off to mom/dad. Playing outside is super fun, but stimulating a pooches mind is also part of a happy, healthy pup life. I‘ll get to know what tricks they already know during our initial meet and greet and do my best not only to reinforce any training/tricks they’ve already learned or are practicing, but I may even possibly be able to add on some new ones that can help around the house. Practice makes perfect, patience is a virtue, and consistency is key, EvEn when mom/dad are away. - There’s More... : These are just a few things I do as a pup sitter to ensure everyone in the equation is happy, healthy, and having fun. Mom, dad, kids, and their super pups! I’m here to make sure everyone is filled with peace and joy. If you have any questions, requests, or want to get to know more about what their stay with me would be like, I’d be more than happy to be of service and answer all/any questions for you :) I’m looking forward to meeting you, your family, and your amazing doggo’s !!

Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog owner since the day I was born. Growing up as a kid, I was surrounded by 3 loving American Bulldogs and 1 irresistible English Bulldog. My time with them was filled with joy and limitless play/adventure out in nature. Two out of the 4 doggos had beautiful puppies (both doggy’s having two litters each throughout their life) from which I was always placed on runt duty (which required 24 Hr care), HaPpiLy! Once I got into middle/high school, I was then blessed with an adorable, clumsy Olde English Bulldogge & lastly, a Toy Chihuahua (chichi). Chichi was my world. Yes, like any Toy Chihuahua, she barked... A lot! Haha! But she meant the world to me. Recently, she passed away (from old age of course) and my heart hasn’t been the same since. Although I loved her the best I could, we hoomans gain more and more responsibility & work as we get older & our pets end up usually having to spend more and more time alone. That was my biggest regret with Chichi. I thought long and hard about adopting another dog after her, but in my heart I simply couldn’t. I felt too deeply about her passing so I thought long and hard on what I should do about it. Finally, I realized that I was wishing and wanting to be able to give what I couldn’t give to chichi to other dog’s out there who also have busy parents going through what I went through. Rover helps me do exactly that! I’m able to give all my love & care to doggy’s whose mom/dad are busy, away, or gone on vacation. Mom/dad can work hard, go places in life, but not have to feel what I felt. Instead of being worried or feeling bad/guilty about your amazing pooches being at home alone because you’re getting life done or simply wanting to get away n’ enjoy it a bit through traveling or what may have you, I can be your peace of mind that your doggy’s are doing the exact same :) It would bring me a whole lot of joy being able to help you and others in that small, special way <3 !!
