Safety, trust & environment
I do live in a one bedroom (no roommates, family or pets of my own). There isn’t a yard which is part of the reason I haven’t gotten a dog but I live super close to a park or if the dog is more energetic and needs a run, I’ll take them to closer off baseball field to play fetch. When I dog sit at people’s houses, I follow whatever schedule they ask me to (in regards to when and what to feed the pets, how often to walk, if one is crated, etc). I usually meet them at their house a few days before they leave to go over where everything is and to meet their pets.
Information Irene M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog take medications and how often, if they any certain allergies, aggression toward other animals, if they’re anxious (and how to calm them)
A typical day
I live in Westmont with plenty of scenic walking routes. I also like to take the energetic dogs to the baseball field where they can run around and get their energy out.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life. I volunteered at humane society in high school (to take care of dogs and cats and as a walker). I started dog sitting in the past year and it works great with my schedule. I don’t currently have a dog, so it’s nice to see their smiling faces!
Reviews

We were so grateful to find Irene when our original plans for our dog, Tucker, fell through right before a two-week vacation. We booked her at the last minute, and she was incredibly responsive and reliable from the start. While we were away, Irene sent us regular updates and photos of Tucker, which completely eased any worries we had about leaving him behind. It was clear he was well cared for and happy. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Irene first the next time we need someone to stay with Tucker. She gave us complete peace of mind and went above and beyond!

Irene took great care of Hudson! Drop off and pick up was smooth as can be. We’ll definitely use Irene again when we need a sitter for Hudson.
Initially a bit hesitant because Irene does not have a fenced yard. But the moment our two dogs met Irene we knew we made a very good choice. She is caring, loving, responsible, and very responsive. She sent us photos regularly. Irene deals with only one family at a time. No mad house. We definitely will use Irene again. A treasure!!

My dog, Nova, can be a little nervous meeting new people but she took to Irene right away which made me feel very comfortable leaving Nova with her for the weekend. Irene also sent pics and updates so I never even had a chance to worry! I can't recommend Irene enough!
