Experienced, friendly and attentive
I've always had dogs growing up and absolutely love their company and taking them for long walks. I've been dogsitting for the past 4 years, including dog walking, dog sitting and overnight stays. We have a lovely border terrier called Blue who is a year and a half who would also love some more doggy company! She is very friendly but also very flexible to match your pet's temperant! I would describe myself as friendly, responsible and reliable. It's important to me that the dogs in my care are safe and happy and I love giving them all the attention they need! We normally take Blue out for walks along the beach, Wish Park or we drive up to Hove Park. We can be flexible depending on what works for your dog! I know it's important for owners to be kept in the loop so I always make sure I send regular updates including lots of cute photos!

Iona has had significant experience looking after numerous dogs over the past 15 years. She cared for our wire fox terrier for many years in particular in her older years when her care needs were very specific. Iona was very attentive to her needs, was very careful with her food and medication, and was always loving and friendly with our beloved dog. Completely reliable and trustworthy at all times, I would not hesitate in asking Iona to look after my pet.

Schedule
I work from home most days so I'm able to take the dogs out for a walk before work. I usually walk along the beach or go to Wish Park so they can run around (I can also keep your dog on a lead if you feel more comfortable with this!). During the day, I will take frequent breaks to make sure the dogs are happy and getting enough stimulation. Our dog Blue loves playing with other dogs but is also very relaxed if they aren't that interested! At lunchtime, we will head out for another walk for 45 mins- 1 hour.

I have a fenced and walled garden which is very secure. I will make to pay special attention to any dietary requirements and respect any expectations and rules of your home!

A typical day
Start the day with a walk before work if an early drop off! We have a garden so I will play with the dogs outside and play games in the house. A walk at lunchtime along the beach, Wish/Hove Park. My border terrier, Blue, will also be around so there will be plenty of time for them to play and keep eachother company. Blue is very adaptable to other dogs so she will be very relaxed and non invasive if your dog isn't too interested!

- It would be important that our dog Blue got on with your dog. She is incredibly friendly and has never had any issues. It would be great if we could meet you and your dog beforehand just to get a sense of how they would be together!
