Scottish Londoner with a calm personality
Getting to know animals is always a wholesome and warm experience. Animals are calm and comfortable around me, and I enjoy spending time with them. Growing up in the countryside with dogs around the house and chickens in the garden, I have been tasked with looking after pets from an early age, from chickens to terriers to retrievers. Since then, I have been looking after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes.

I live near Twickenham station and minutes away from numerous parks. Living between twickenham and teddington, there is a plethora of river walks I’m familiar with, with safe spaces to go off lead. Enjoying walks and exploring new areas, I am more than happy to follow a similar routine of regular breaks and lunch-time walks with any furry friend. Giving them attention is always important and something I would do often, whether it is exercise, playing with them, or sitting next to each other. If staying over, I am happy to have the pet in the same room in which I sleep, or in a neighbouring room so I can hear them if they need anything.

Iona was wonderful! So calm and made us feel very safe and supported, and Patsy loved her! She was so sad when Iona left. Would definitely book again!
Iona housesat (sitted?) for us to look after our older Golden Retreiver, Hamish and we're delighted with how much care and attention she paid both to him and to keeping us updated on how he was doing. Hamish is an older dog and not as mobile these days. He also has the ocasisonal 'accident' due to age and decreasing muscle control. Iona took fantastic care of him and handled all of his - and our - needs extremely well. We look forward to Iona looking after Hamish again and can't recommend her highly enough.
Iona has been walking Murphy and Luna this week and has been fantastic. Really good interacting with the dogs, always punctual and sends pictures and Rover cards straight away. Will definitely be asking Iona to do more walks for us!
Iona was great - Jager was very happy with her and she kept him company all day with exercise and play time :)

Schedule
I work a 9-5 office job from home 5 days a week, going into the office a few times a month depending on team meetings, and able to work from anywhere with an internet connection. I work primarily alone, meaning I am fully flexible in taking breaks as and when needed. I also enjoy going for walks at lunch to break up the day, and having company (in pet form) would be lovely!
