I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life — from cats, dogs, and birds to cows and farm animals. Growing up on a farm taught me how to truly understand their behavior and emotions. Animals naturally trust me, and I build a calm, safe connection with every pet I meet. I also have experience caring for senior pets and helping shy animals feel comfortable. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just giving love, your pet will feel at home with me.

When I care for pets, I always follow their usual routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh water, proper meals, playtime, and enough outdoor time if needed. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality — whether they need extra energy, gentle patience, or quiet company. If needed I will keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pets are happy and cared for.

Ion is an animal whisperer!!! All our pets (dog and 2 cats love him). He takes great care of them and gracefully follows very complicated medicine routines for one of our cats with a skin condition. Thank you, Ion!

I have nothing but good things to say about Ion. Right away during the initial interaction our dog Dulce, who is normally timid with new people, immediately trusted him and felt comfortable around him. He showed up at the agreed times and took her on her walks and provided plenty of updates and photos and accommodated any requests. Would highly recommend Ion if you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like his own.
I have interviewed a lot of dog sitters over the years, Ion was the first one that brought treats for the dogs, you would think that is obvious, it is not. He asked a lot of questions, interacted with the dogs, wanted to play with them right away. My dog is 12, she has some issues and kind of a 'high maintenance' dog with supplements and some mobility issues. He was fine with it, read all my instructions, followed them, sent me pictures in the morning and evening with updates. When Keena was being picky, as she does sometimes, he asked and we got it figured out. I am usually pretty nervous with a new sitter, have had some nightmare situations, with Ion, I wasn't stressed, which is rare. When I travel again, I will reach out to him as my first choice and recommend to others to take care of their loved doggos
Ion took such great care of our dog Eevie and gave great updates! She can be kind of a nervous dog but she got comfortable with him right away. We'll definitely be booking with him again. Thanks Ion!

Schedule
Pet care easily fits into my weekly routine because I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I always make time for walks and pet visits, both on weekdays and weekends. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, so I often plan my days around it. Caring for pets isn’t just a task for me — it’s a relaxing and rewarding part of my routine.
