I have known Ingrid for over 8 years, and she is one of the most kind hearted, compassionate, and trustworthy people I know. She is an animal lover through and through, and had fostered, adopted, and trained dogs of all types of pasts, demeanors, and needs. She is patient and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to dogs of all breeds. My husband and I have gone to her many times with questions about our own ...

Can't say enough about Ingrid! Elroy loved her/spouse/and dogs. We felt he was in good hands when we dropped him off and were even more delighted when we saw how well he played with their dogs. Ingrid made us feel comfortable and confident when we dropped him off for the night, and we hung out for a bit when we came to pick him up the next morning. Great option for us to ...

I have had the pleasure of knowing Ingrid for over 20 years now. She truly has a gift with animals. If you are lucky enough for her to care for your pets while you are absent, consider yourself very fortunate! Her Talent is only overshadowed by the size of her heart.

A tired dog is a happy dog!

First and foremost, I love dogs!

My husband and I enjoy being active in the outdoors and never hike or camp without our pups! Our girls play well with others, will share toys and don't have any issues with resource guarding. They will HAPPILY share their tennis balls...all 500 of them! We have a large fenced in yard with access to the deck. I've worked as a veterinarian assistant for 4 years and am ...

About Ingrid's Home

When Ingrid watches your pet

We live about 5 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and would love to take your dog hiking, if appropriate. We typically hike distances from 3 to 10 miles and can adjust according to your dog's needs. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your pup sleeping soundly after a great workout!

We also live less than 2 miles from Fletcher Park, which is a wonderful place to take pups for walks, practice good manners, and play in the enclosed dog park area, with or without other dogs, if desired.
