I work from home and we have one dog and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed.

Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.

Updated on vaccinations? On flea and heartworm preventative? Who is your veterinarian? Does he/she ride well in cars? What is his or her personality like? Is he/she house trained? Crate trained? Favorite toy? Any physical limitations? or special needs?
A typical day
For drop-in visit walks, I enjoy letting dogs explore their surroundings and engage in play, when appropriate. I also have a fast pace, so for the smaller dogs, they cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.

Pet care experience
First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too!
Reviews

Thanks for taking such great care of our pups!! They were so relaxed and at ease when we got home. We will ask you to take care of them you again in the future.

Ingrid was great. Highly recommend!

Seriously one of the kindest and sweetest couple. They took care of our baby boy and he was happy every single second he was with them. They have the sweetest dogs who make your dog feel at home. My dog came home with a positive attitude and I know he got out and enough exercise while with them. I will always book with them moving forward. They are located near the airport which is super helpful for traveling.

Amazing first experience with Ingrid! She was exactly what my dog needed while I was traveling, and I would highly recommend her to all who need a great dog-sitter. I can’t wait to book Ingrid again!
