Hi! I’m Inês. I’ve always loved animals, but I used to be quite afraid. About 15 years ago, I volunteered at a dog shelter, and that experience helped me understand and feel more confident around them. Since then, my hands-on experience has been with my own and family / friends dogs. My dogs passed away last year, and it’s been really hard not having a “pup” around me. I’m not in a position to have my own again right now, which is why I think dog sitting and walking are perfect for me. This way, I can help other people care for their own while also getting back some of that special connection I’ve been missing
