Experienced Cat and Dog Sitter
I’m an animal lover with the most experience caring for cats, but I also really enjoy looking after dogs. For the past two years, I’ve regularly cat-sat Ozzi and Bruno on weekends in Lerum. I've also helped care for Camelote, who stayed with us for a month while his owner was sick. I’ve pet-sat for family animals for many years and I’ve have looked after many dogs in Gothenburg, including a beloved husky named Trinda, who belongs to a close friend, and Pippo, a very sweet miniature poodle. I love cuddly pets who enjoy attention, but I also really appreciate animals who prefer their space and silence. Every pet is different, and I take the time to understand their unique personality and needs. Good communication with their humans is always key to creating the best care experience for everyone involved. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping a pet company, I always make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

Schedule
I’ve just graduated in June from a master’s in Design, so I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to adapt my days around the needs of the animals I care for. Both weekdays and weekend pet sitting works well for me. I would be able to plan my days to include time for walks, feeding, play, or quiet time, depending on what the pet needs.

I focus on creating a calm, safe, and respectful environment for the pets, whether I’m in my home or theirs. I make sure to follow their routines closely, such as feeding times, sleep schedules, walks, or simply giving them space when they need it. I always follow the family’s instructions carefully and stay in touch with them to make sure everything feels right. For me, pet sitting is about understanding each animal as an individual and building trust, both with the pet and their person.
A typical day
A typical day always starts with checking in on how the pet is doing, some like cuddles first thing, others prefer a quiet start. If I’m caring for a cat, I’ll make sure the litter box is clean, refresh food and water, and spend time playing or relaxing with them depending on their mood. Some love interactive play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, while others are happiest sunbathing nearby or curling up on a soft blanket. For dogs, the day often includes walks suited to their age and energy level, anything from short, slow strolls for seniors to fun and playful walks for younger pups. I also enjoy gentle training exercises, playtime, and of course, lots of love and positive attention. Whether I’m with a dog or a cat, I pay close attention to their mood and needs. I try to keep a calm, cozy rhythm throughout the day while giving them plenty of affection, and comfort so they feel safe and happy while their human is away.
