Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in their own home, I feel it is best to allow them to follow their usual routine to ensure they feel as relaxed as possible. I will tailor my care to each animal’s needs, including walks, feeding schedules or administering medication. Moreover, I will always respect any specific instructions you provide regarding your pets care. For dog walking, I can adjust the pace and length of the walk to the dog’s age, energy and personality, which includes their reactivity to other dogs (I have experience with this). I would aim to make every visit and walk calm and enjoyable!

A Zoology student with a lifelong love for animals

Pet care experience

I am a Zoology student at the University of Leeds, and have always had a life long love for animals. I have grown up around dogs and currently have two of my own back home, both of whom I have helped raise and train from birth. Over the years I have gained hands on experience working with animals, and participated in numerous conservation projects related to my course. For example, I volunteered on a project with a tribe in Thailand in which I studied elephant behaviour. In addition I have interned at a veterinary clinic, where I helped care for dogs and cats post-surgery and assisted with walking and observation. Finally, during school I worked as a dog walker and house sitter in my neighbourhood. Overall, I have experience caring for animals, both big and small, and am a reliable choice for your pet care!

India was incredible with Tarot! She followed Tarot’s routine perfectly and made sure all of his daily needs were met. She went above and beyond to keep him stimulated throughout the day with plenty of walks and playtime. I can’t recommend her enough!

India was brilliant with Monty - he had such a great day and walk. India was so good at handling him and playing with him. Would highly recommend India! Thanks so much and Monty can’t wait for the next time.
