India came to visit me in Mexico with her friend Emilee and within minutes my dogs were totally smitten. In particular my big Mexican pedigree puppy, Lupo, wouldn't leave her side. In the morning when I woke up I'd wonder why my bed was empty. It was because Lupo had snuck across the hall and was snuggled in with India. I don't know why after the second night I even tried to have my dogs sleep with me, lol. India took Lupo for walks and that was no easy feat since Lupo is a large puppy and has no idea that she is so big and gangly. India was very patient and had Lupo actually going to her to get her leash on. I have to chase her around the house to get her leash on and she was going to India! Can you say momma was a bit jealous? My little dog, Matilda, is a momma's girl. Nope, not when India was around. India was teaching a yoga class online on the back patio and I swear I saw Matilda following along and doing downward dog, trying to imitate India. In my neighborhood there are street dogs and she made friends with them all also. I knew when India and Emilee were leaving my doggies would miss them and I was right. Lupo walked into each room and looked around carefully trying to find her buddy. India is invited and welcomed back to my place anytime.
