I work full-time Monday–Friday, primarily from home, with office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When house sitting, I make your home my home base so your pet has plenty of companionship, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific routine and needs, whether that includes medications, frequent potty breaks, extra exercise, or just lots of love and attention. 🐾 I usually go to the gym in the mornings before work, but if your pup is high-energy, I’d be happy to swap that for a walk or run together instead! Outside of short outings here and there, I spend most of my time at home and aim to provide a calm, reliable, and comforting environment while you’re away. My settings are set for weekend stays, but I am happy to stay longer, if you are okay with me leaving for the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine and making their home feel calm, safe, and familiar while their owners are away. I know every pet is different, so I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, exercise needs, and any house rules or routines you already have in place. 🐾 Because I work primarily from home, I’m able to spend a lot of quality time with pets throughout the day and provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, keep things clean and organized, and always want both pets and owners to feel relaxed and confident while they’re away.

Please let me know if your dog as any special needs and how they do on (or off) a leash! I've had two dogs - one who loved absolutely everything and everyone and the other one that... did not. I would also like to know what treats/people food is okay (if they have any allergies). I like night-time popcorn and would like to know if it is OK to share :) (I can normally tell if they are used to getting popcorn as well, by the stare down or lack of!)

On a typical day, I like to keep things fun, flexible, and tailored to each dog’s personality and energy level. With my own chihuahua, we spent a lot of time exploring local trails and parks together from lively, social areas to quieter spots where she could sniff around at her own pace. We discovered her favorite walking routes and learned quickly that some days were all about adventure, while other days were more about a slow stroll and heading home early for rest. I take a similar approach with every dog I care for. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, whether that means a long walk, a short potty break, playtime, or just relaxing together at home. If a dog is tired, overstimulated, or simply not in the mood, I’m very comfortable adjusting plans in the moment so they feel safe, understood, and cared for.

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and special needs. I also have experience with rescue dogs and understand the patience, compassion, and trust-building they sometimes need after a rough start.
