Caring for animals is part of my day-to-day work and life. I also want to incorporate this joy into my free time, which is why I want to get as many opportunities as possible to look after our feline and canine friends.

Safety, trust & environment
I already have years of professional pet sitting experience and can tailor my services to your pet's needs. For example, length and type of walks (this will vary a lot depending on age, health conditions, training requirements, reactivity to other animals and more), how long they can be left alone, administering medication, play sessions etc. I can provide full care on Wednesdays and weekends, including pet sitting at your house overnight. For cat owners, I can also provide live-in care throughout the week, provided you are happy for me to go to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (leaving for work 8 am in the morning and back 8 pm in the evening).
Information In Ji K. would like to know about your pet
All the basics around your pet: Food (type, feeding times, amount), treats, allergies, medication (oral medication for chronic conditions, eye and ear medication, injectables) and any relevant clinical history. Also important - all the basics around your pet's interaction to the world: Sensitivity to stimuli, reactivity towards humans (adults, only males, only children), reactivity towards other animals (dogs, only entire males, cats, squirrels, foxes, birds, etc.), behaviour on the lead and off the lead. Especially, anything out of the ordinary.
A typical day
My day will be entirely tailored around the pet. For dogs requiring a high level of exercise and stimulation, this means frequent walks (morning, afternoon, evening) with some dependency on the weather. During very hot weather, walks should be kept short and restricted to the early morning hours or at night. During very cold weather, walks should be kept to a level comfortable for the breed (temperature tolerance varies depending on the fur etc). Mental stimulation is also very important in high energy breeds, so we would be engaging in their favourite games (sniffing out hidden treats, nosework, destruction boxes, puzzle toys etc.) Some breeds will be most content being a couch potato, and I am more than happy to join them :)

Veterinary receptionist & experienced pet sitter
Pet care experience
Besides owning dogs since childhood, I have professional pet sitting experience since 2023, which is also when I started working as a veterinary receptionist. I have learned more than I can imagine about pet care in the past few years and I plan to start a vet med degree in the future when the time is right. I have completed first aid training, as well as training for emergency triaging for cats and dogs, and have fundamental knowledge in small animal pathology.
Reviews

Merlin has a great time. We were given fun and regular updates on what they were both up to, and we appreciated being able to meet ahead of time to talk through Merlin's needs.

The best! Our bulldog looked so happy, and content. Lots of hugs, playtime and walks. Would 1 million percent recomend and use again. ❤️

Amazing dog sitter, super friendly and has veterinary experience so super confident which was great!
In Ji is a lovely and loving caregiver of animals who has sat our dog and two cats for the past two years. She started looking after our furry family members (Cedric, Errol and Clem) after being recommended by our friends in the neighborhood who also really appreciate how she looks after their cat (Batman). There have been plenty of time she has made herself available within a days notice without a word of complaint. She follows the instructions given, which is worth mentioning given one of our cats became ill and required a special diet to be followed - we were always confident in her ability to listen to any additional requests and trusted her fully. Outside of sitting she works with animals professionally which is really reflected in her gentle and attentive nature with our three - always ready to reflect on caregiving advice and suggest useful tips (cool mats in summer as an example). We never had an issue with In Ji as a house guest - found our house well looked after and tidy after live in stays.
